My Plan

OK I know I have posted this before, but I found so many errors in my plan, and you guys gave me so many great ideas. I changed a lot of the plan. I set this one up so that everyday we are at the EMH park, since we will only get one day at each park. We are staying at POFQ if that makes a difference in any of your suggestions.

Day 1 : MGM
Lunch PS for 50's Primetime Cafe
Dinner on Sunset Blvd
I know that last time I heard a lot about doing the Fantasmic! Package, but last year we went exactly the same week, and not even half the theatre was filled. We just felt like the Package was one BIG waste.

Day 2: Epcot
Lunch PS for Biergarten
Dinner at Tangerine Cafe in Morocco
Watch Illuminations from Morocco

Day 3: MK
Early lunch at Columbia Harbour House... because
Dinner PS at Ohanas!!
Watch Wishes from Ohanas

Day 4: AK
Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ
Dinner PS at Chef Mickey's
Then, head over to MK for Wishes

Day 5: Resort Hopping/DTD
I have always wanted a day where I get to go visit other resorts, so here it is!! I wanted to go check out CSR, SSR, and AKL. I doubt that we will make it to AKL, because I am planning on grabbing lunch at DTD probably at Rainforest Cafe or Earl of Sandwhich. Where exactly is Earl of Sandwhich, and would you recomend it over Rainforest Cafe???

Any suggestions are wonderful. The only reason I picked counter-service resturaunts already is I just wanted an idea of the good ones. Thanks

The plans look a bit better this time around. Not that they were bad the other time, this time just looks more "do-able". I like the day to hop resorts, but wonder if you want to spend your last day at WDW doing so. Maybe a day in the middle there for that, but it's your trip and you know what will work best for you and your group. I think I would go with the Earl of Sandwich over the Rainforest Cafe only because I always hear very hot and cold reviews of that place and I don't know if I would want to end my trip with a possible bad meal or an iffy one. You should maybe try to get to the AKL and try Boma...excellent meal. I have chosen most of my counter palces too, so you're are'nt odd for doing so. It's easier to have an idea of where you want to have your meals. I sometimes have at least two picks for counter service and just go with the moment when there. The Ps's you chose are awesome and you are sure to enjoy them all. Hope some of this helps you.

Your plan sounds really nice, Disneyguy. And after reading a whole lot of restaurant reviews I have to say that the Rainforest Cafe would "scare" me. But there have been mostly good reviews for the "Earl of Sandwich".

I would love to post my plan here but am afraid that all of you would rofl and then I would be the only one left here on this board. I have put my plan together only after weighing everyone's opinions and listening! AND I CANNOT WAIT TO PUT IT INTO ACTION SOON

Don't be silly Dopey. We would never make you feel bad about your plans. I am certain they are fine. Maybe if you post them, we will be able to help with the tweaking. Don't be silly now. Post those plans and let us help you. It's what we are here for. I have belonged on this board for awhile, and have made many trips to WDW, but I still post my plans for advice and opinions. An objective opinion or another's ideas may be just what you need or are looking for. I have got some of my best ideas for trips and such from my DC family.

Hello Disneyguy, looks like you have everything covered, we really loved Columbia Harbor House also. I think you should move the resort hopping day to one of the middle days. On our last trip, we stayed 5 days, 4 nights and that was great. We then stayed off-property 2 more days and went to Universal Studios. Both of those days all I could think of was that I wish I could go back one more time to see Wishes. Maybe I'm wrong though because it is very hard to leave the MK on the last day of your trip.

I would vote, too, for putting your resort hopping into the middle of the week. It will give you a little break from the parks. The Earl of Sandwich is in the building that use to house The Gourmet Shop at the Marketplace. I, too, would go with it over Rainforest Cafe. The rest looks great.

We did these two dinner PS's and they were superb,DD got to spend so much time with all the characters at Chef Mickey's. But Ohanas was out of this world, the food was excellent, hula and coconut racing for kids..... I wish I was there.

ah..i love reading other peoples plans...i think it makes my life worth living...although i will ditto what royorb said about saving MK for last...kind of like "saving the best for last" although thats entirley my opinion of whats best too....have fun!!!!!!

It is more, and more that I will need to cut out a day, in order to save a night's worth of hotel money.

The main change that the entire last day is out the window, and we will take the last flight out after seeing AK.
