Ok, I have been reading about the MNSSHP and that it is a hard ticket event. Do you have to buy admission into the park and then pay another price to go this event? What if you spend all day in the park and take a break then want to go to the MNSSHP that evening? I am just confused on how all this works. Thanks for explaining in advance.

No, the ticket you purchase includes admission to the park. It isn't until late in the evening, so you cannot use the MNSSHP tickets to get into the park until the gates have reopened for the party. They will close the Magic Kingdom around 5 ish, and will get everyone out. Then, at about 6:30 or so (if party time is at 7), they will open the gates and let people back in the park for the party.

You buy a ticket for the event seperately from park admission. It doens't work like E-night where you have to be at that park on that specific day. For the proice of these tickets, I would hope not. You have to check in with your tickets and you receive a wrist band and that is your admission and what lets the CM's know you are suppose to be there. I am getting this information from what others have posted. I haven't ever been to it. Hope I am right about this.

Just an FYI, cast members usually start letting folks in for the party pretty early -- we were allowed in at 4:30 pm using our MNSSHP tickets this past week. Arriving early can be helpful, as the park officially closes for the day at 6:00 on MNSSHP nights; this means folks are leaving in droves around 5:00, leaving absolutely no waits for most attractions.

At 6:00, cast members will sort through the remaining guests in the park. Those with MNSSHP tickets and wristbands will be escorted into tomorrowland, and those without tickets will be asked to leave the park. At 7:00 pm, the party attendees in tomorrowland are allowed to filter into the rest of the MK. Again, at this point, there are barely any waits for many rides as folks just arriving for the party are still on Main Street. We were actually the only riders on BTMR and went around twice before people made their way back to Frontierland.

I hope you choose to attend the party -- it's really a wonderful evening!

I suppose you are allowed to stay in the park but do you have to leave and re-enter with your MNSSHP ticket?
And I was hoping to go from dinner to the Party and was planning on bringing our costumes with us.
Anyone have any suggestions about where or when to change into Halloween costumes for the event.
I don't want my DD to wearing her dinner on her costume!
And I didn't plan on wearing mine to dinner either.

I'm sure they wouldn't kick you out of a PS just because MNSSHP was starting. I would think if they were going to do anything about it they would just check to see if you had the wristbands. If you want to be sure, maybe you could call up Disney. :)

If you've got a 5:30 PS you're golden. Just go to your PS, eat dinner at your leisure, and head out into the park when you're done. If you don't have your wristbands already, a CM will find you, ask to see your tickets, and give you wristbands. You do not have to leave the park and come back in with your tickets.

If you finish dinner before 7:00 pm, chances are a cast member will ask you to go over into tomorrowland until the party officially begins (we were eating at Pecos Bills, and when we were finished -- around 6:30 pm --, a cast member actually ESCORTED us to Tomorrowland!) I would suggest just finding a restroom after dinner and changing into your costumes there.

You should have no problem whatsoever, and, as I said, you won't have to leave and re-enter the park. You'll be all set.

If your PS is at LTT, and you finish eating at 6:30 you can hang out on their porch (there are rocking chairs and you can change into your costumes in their restrooms upstairs) until seven. I would recommend this because the rest of the crowd and I do mean everyone is at tomorrowland and you can head for FL or PoC or the Picture place in Liberty Square or the one in adventureland and you will be the first one there.

By the way, we had 5:00 Pses at LTT on Oct. 3rd and we ran our MNSSHP tickets through when we came through at 4:45 and got our wristbands and our treatsacks and we were ready to go after dinner. But I would recommend hang out aroung the restaurant after you eat if you have a 5:30 dinner PS because you do not want to get stuck with everyone else in tomorrowland and have to make a dash for it at 7pm, especially on Halloween night. It will be a mad house. Take my word for it.

I have Ps's @ the Crystal Palace which Iam hoping to get them changed to LTT instead as we are not big Pooh fans at all. I heard that is where everyone will be and I would like a chance to see Minnie as I hear she doesn't always pop up at other character breakfast's/dinners (I have PS's for Dinner at CM's).
You guys answered my questions too, I was wondering if we could hang out in the park after dinner or if they would make us leave an re-enter, it makes sense if you have tickets to just stay, unless they have a problem with people sneaking in. Do they take your tickets from you or just scan them, which would make them invalid if someone tried to use them if taken from you? I was hoping to keep the passes as a souvenir/momento. Iam a nut, I like to save everything special and this is my DD and I first visit to WDW together!!!

When I went they just scanned our tickets and gave them back. I know what you mean about saving things, mine is in my scrapbook! What a great trip for you and your DD... I know you'll both have a wonderful time!

You'll be able to keep your ticket -- you'll need it if fastpass is running (it was running for a few attractions at the Oct.8 MNSSHP, but not at all at the Oct.3 MNSSHP).
