EPCOT 20th Anniversary
I was wondering if anyone is specifically planning on going to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Epcot on October 1st? I didn't realize it was right around the corner until I received my Disney mag yesterday.
I told my husband that we might have to do an "emergency trip" to celebrate. I was at the Grand Opening and would love to be there on the 1st. The thing is, I will be giving birth the very next month so I don't know if I will be able to tolerate much and the 1st falls on a Tuesday so that would probably be out for hubby. Anyway, just curious if there are any others making plans? :bandit

We will be there during the 1st and now that you have informed us on the big 20 for Epcot! We will be planning out day there on the 1st! Awesome! Thank you!

Bummer!! We don't fly in until the 2nd. :( I could not find anything on Disney's web site mentioning this
 You would think they would do something to celebrate it.

I recieved my Disney Magazine a couple of days ago too! I cant believe EPCOT is 20! I found the article really interesting, the way they call it "Looking back at the Future" I think thats a cool name. Any of you that dont subscribe to the Disney Magazine should! Its all about the Disney Parks! Thank god We are disney club members and get it fo free! lol. They probably have it at your local Barnes 'N' Noble if any of you are interested, it costs $4.99. Anyways, lets move on from that Disney Magazine AD, lol. I'm postive Disney has something planned for the big 2-0, I wish I knew though! I first thought EPCOT was a stupid boring park, but when I got older and first went around World Showcase, I was amazed!! I can go to Mexico and Canada in the same day! lol. Last year for a project I built the EPCOT ball, its base is a styrafome (sp?) ball and little paper triangles all around it. My friends think its so cool! lol....anyways I wish I could be there!

Doh! Don't I feel clueless!! I had no idea that it was time for the 20th! Thanks for the heads-up. Hopefully, I'll be able to be there for that. Any word yet on any special shows, events, etc. that day?
