It's Official!!!

Stich has escaped!!!! According to WDWMAGIC the official soft opening date was October 5th. November 16th is the Official opening date. Unofficially they are reporting a minimum height of 35". YES! I am so glad that it will open for the Nov/ Dec travelers...sorry october visits, but now you have an excuse to make another trip right? Thanks for the link and the info disneyguy.

Well that will just be stinky!!!! My DD is a small 2, but she loves the Buzz ride. I was hoping she could go on this too. She loves Stitch, but not even close to my DS who is constantly speeking like Stitch.

Talk about perfect timing. Last year, it was DD's first trip and we get selected to be the Grand Marshals of the parade at MK. It was a great opportunity for all of us to see so many rides that we had never done before: Buzz, the new Tiki birds, Test Track and see AK for the first time.

This past May, Philharmagic and Mission:Space were new and DS and I also rode RnRC for the first time.

Now, in December, we get to see Stitch throw boogers at us! Cool!!!!

Your chance of getting on the ride is garunteed. The ride is currently open. Ride demand will be high so be sure to do this attraction earlier.

In the interest of full disclosure, you're not guaranteed that the attraction will be open all day long.

Technically, they are still in "soft open" mode which means that they can shut the attraction down with little or no notice for expented periods of time (sometimes hours) in order to work out any remaining glitches.

Also, it's not uncommon for attractions to be interrupted during soft open as well.

There is now Coke all over my desk! Too funny!

We are all so excited to ride this on our Dec. trip! I am one of the rare few who just didn't care for AE at all and didn't feel it belonged in WDW(more like a Universal ride to me) Stitch will be a great addition to MK IMO.

I'm so excited about this! I can't believe it's open already!! I'll get to see it on my next trip!! Sigh... I gotta admit, I will miss the old ride, but as long as Skippy's still there, it's all good.

LOL.. Yes, this is true Matt. Thanks for reminding us of that. I got to go on M:S while it was still in its soft opening stages. I never noticed a sing problem, despite the very long lines. That was the biggest problem.. They had a hard time estimating how long it would truly take to get to the front of the line (and thats a computers job).

I never got to go on Alien Encounter, but that does not mean i do not have high expectations on Stich Escape...November huh? Sounds good to me, I can go on it the next time I go the most magical place on earth...woo hoo!!!
