AAA and their specials...

Is it me or is AAA doing better than ever. I have never used AAA until this year, and we booked a Disney Cruise with tremendous savings and also AAA offers Hopper tickets at what seems to be the lowest price anywhere (even lower than some of the private link discount offers).

Even received a great price on rooms, when AP rate was not available.

Re: AAA and their specials...

We signed up for AAA before our last trip, but unfortunatly they were unable to get us a deal on the resort we wanted to stay at (their allotment was filled at that resort). However, they have "saved" my DW twice now when she was on the road, and they saved me a fortune on towing once already so all in all they have been well worth the cost.

Re: AAA and their specials...

This past March we bought our park hopper tickets at AAA. We were also given a AAA diamond parking pass, and that was the BEST!! You still had to pay for parking, but you got to drive past everyone and go WAAAY up to the front of the parking lots to a special area to park! All the parking attendants were so cute to us, and treated us like we were special VIPs! We parked so close at EPCOT that I could almost hear the music they play at the ticket booths when I got out of the car!!

The best part of the Diamond Parking passes is that they don't expire! You can keep them and re-use them. We have rec'd them several times and they all look exactly the same. No different colors, no expiration dates.

Re: AAA and their specials...

If anyone has an extra pass lying around that we could borrow for our Dec 18-25 trip I would be most appreciative. We are AAA members but I can get a better rate on park hoppers through the MWR on base. I would, of course, return it as soon as we were finished with it.

Re: AAA and their specials...

We used AAA for the first time instead of getting tickets as a package. We're travelling with our 1 year old son this year; and we were a little concerned that we might not make it to the parks every day. So we bought tickets through AAA because they were cheap and they never expire.

I've only looked at the 5 day Park Hopper as that is what we were considering buying. They are $238 for adults, which is a good rate.

Re: AAA and their specials...

AAA's prices and park hoppers vary according to the area where you live. You can go to aaa.com and check to see what's offered in your area.

Sorry, but I gave all my parking passes away. I didn't even have one left over for myself on our last trip.

It was worth a try! Any other DCers have one they might be willing to lend out for a week?
