water parks in january

hey everyone. rob and i are going back to WDW in january. i'm just wondering if it's worth going to the water parks based on the weather in Orlando. the average temperature is around 72 degrees and i want to make sure to see if it's worth going to the parks. mind you that we never stepped foot in the water parks out of the 3 times we've been there. thank you guys for your help.

Re: water parks in january

Is it possible for you to play it by ear?
The weather can be so unpredictable, and you never know, it might be beautiful out. The water is heated, so you might enjoy it. It could also go the other way...and be freezing!
I live here in Fl. and I have swam on Christmas, New Years, etc. I've frozen my toosh off!!

I wouldn't close the door, but maybe plan an "off" day that you can be flexible in. That way if the water parks don't work out, you can go do DisneyQuest or spend the day at DTD...

Tragic -
I'll be finding out right along with you. My DBF, DD and DBFDS are going no matter what the weather...lol I'll be the one in sweatpants watching them freeze.

Re: water parks in january

If you go, plan to spend from 11a-3p @ the water parks even the 70+ days are cool in the morning and as soon as the sun starts to drop it gets cold!!! Remember something warm for the trip back.

Good luck!
