Does anyone know any details about the Press Event weekend that is the first weekend of December. I had a Disney CM tell me that it is going on but did not know the details.

Every year they have a press event that covers the holiday happenings. I would assume that this one will also cover some of the newer attractions as well, such as Stitch and some others. It's not as big as the main one that will happen over the weekend of May 5, 2005, but still is a decent enough draw.

So that's why there are no dinner packages for the 5pm performance of the Candlelight Processional on December 5th!!

Whoa whoa whoa!! There is a big press event the weekend of May 5th??? I'm planning to go May 1-May 8, we were hoping to avoid the school and spring break crowds. Does this press event draw a large crowd or are they mostly in conventions or something? Don't tell me I have to change my dates, again!!

When they have a big press event,they usually close a certain park extra early. I remember the day I got my first annual pass I wanted to go to Epcot for Illuminations,but they had closed it at 4pm because they had a press event for the opening of the Millenium Village.
