Weather at Night
I am picking out a Pleasure Island outfit and just need to know how chilly it is. Is it too cold for a knee-lenth skirt? Should I opt for pants instead?? I am from California so I am ok with weather in the high 50s at night...

I would pack something on the warmer side as well as your skirt. The night before you'll be able to tell how cold it will get when you decide to go to PI. You never can tell with the Florida weather...especially if it decides to rain.
One year it was hats, gloves and scarfs for us and the next year it was shorts and t-shirts. Go figure  !Pack so you are prepared for the weather to go either way.

Ha ha ha, I laugh. Weather in Orange County, Fl is warmer than Orange County, Ca. If you're going this week, it looks like it won't be going below 60 at night towards the weekend. If you can go in shorts and tee shirt at 64, then that'll work, but I'd suggest longer pants and a heavier shirt with sleeves that you can roll up. As for skirts, well, that's not my style, so I don't know. You're picking a good time to come. The heat is starting to break, and the crowds are smaller from here until Xmas, excepting Thanksgiving.

I always pack a light jacket, a pair of slacks/jeans and either a sweater or long sleeve shirt. That way I am covered should it be a little chilly for shorts and T's.

one time it was beautiful all week (average in the 70's) and the last day we woke up to the 30's! You should have seen all the mittens and scarfs that come out from no where in all the shops (like ponchos in the rain). Nothing is as funny as foreign travlers fighting over mickey scarfs!!!

You will be fine with a skirt, just bring a sweater!
I just came back and it wasn't that cold at nite! Iam used to wearing skirts at nite out during the cooler months here in Jersey!

The weather is nice here. It gets a little cool at night, but its a nice break from the 100 degrees I'm used to. Not that I'm complaining, I love the heat!!

it usually get a little cold at night in the south even when the days are pleasent...plus...you have to think of what youll be doing at pleasure island, if youll be dancing or in the club it'll be hot-ish in there and youll be just fine...the walk from the door to the car probaly wont kill you....
