Haircut for DDs
Can anyone give me info about the Haircuts at the Barber Shop in Disney World.
1. Is it worth the trouble? 2. Is there a best time to get there? 3. What are the hours? I am considering getting my DD(<2) her first haircut there and her big sis one also. I saw an earlier thread but wanted to see if there is any new info out there.

Re: Haircut for DDs
I got my DS's hair cut there this past summer and it was so cool. I hope to do it every trip now. I would just check the line first thing in the morning then if that doesn't work out go back in the afternoon between lunch adn the parade.
Hours are 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. Cost for a haircut is $15.00 for adults and $12.00 for children. I wrote about my DS's hair cut in my trip report. http://www.disneycentral.com/forum/s...2&page=1&pp=40

Re: Haircut for DDs
My advice is to get there at around 8:30 on an early entry day. Even though the shop isn't open yet, you'll be the first in line when it does. The day that I did this, there was a line of about 10 people behind me by the time the park opened at nine.
It's definitely worth it!! Loads of fun!!

Re: Haircut for DDs
We had DD hair cut there last summer. We got there at park opening and waited but found that 2 CM's were able to bump in line in front of us. The barber joked around with my DD,who was 4 at the time, but his humor was kind of sarcastic. My daughter didn't get that he was really making fun of her, but I did. I didn't really like that. She did get the "pixie dust" in her hair, which she liked, but I don't think that we'd do it again.

Re: Haircut for DDs
DO IT!!!
Both kids got their hair done there in May. I'll post pics over the weekend. My kids are DS12 and DD8 and they both loved it. They can add color to your hair. Also, on my honeymoon, I got my haircut at the old barber shop when it was halfway up Main St. So, it's ok for "adults" as well. ![]() As far as times, I've discovered that it's catch as catch can. Sometimes a long line can actually be short because you've got a series of "trims" or well-behaved kids. On the flip side, a short line can mean a long wait because of the opposite. Personally, I like to have it done early in the morning, so that way the kids can enjoy their "magical haircut" all day long.
