Another AP question
First of all... WAHOOOOO!!! I ordered an AP last night!!!
OK, so for anyone who's done this before, does Disney send you anything ahead of time (before it actually arrives) or do you have to wait for delivery before you can access the member's area. It feels so anti-climactic to purchase it and then have to wait for two weeks to actually get it. ![]()

Re: Another AP question
Matt you aren't an official APer until you activate it I believe. That's how mine is working. I got a hard plastic voucher for an AP and have to change it over and activate it to be an actual AP person.

Re: Another AP question
OK, I think I've asked this before, but I'm having trouble figuring it out.
So, I bring the voucher and I need to activate it. Is there someplace at the airport to activate it? I suppose I could have the QS driver stop at DTD and I could activate it there right? What's the best way to do this? I mean, in order to get the discount when I check in, the pass does need to be activated right? (I mean, technically, because I know it's entirely like that they won't even ask me for it.)

Re: Another AP question
You have to activate it at one of the theme parks. You can't do it at the disney store or the airport. You turn in your hard voucher for the paper ticket that is your AP...I find the paper ticket strange, but who am I to judge. You can do this at any of the parks at the ticket windows I believe. Not 100% iof it's the ticket window or guest relations...I was going to ask tink.

Re: Another AP question
I just found the answer to my own question. I don't need to activate it to get the rate. Tinkerbell answered this very same question back in August.
It's the OCD in me. Just re-planning the plan. Know what I mean? ![]() Problem solved.

I always thought that was odd too. You would think the AP itself would be plastic. ![]()

Re: Another AP question
I totally agree with you on how crummy it is to have to wait to have an activated AP to get into the site. But, I have to tell you, it's usually pretty boring. ;)

Re: Another AP question
I agree about the paper tickets. I was absolutely paranoid about keeping these safe during my recent trip.
We actually just purchased these on our last trip since we are planning on squeezing in 3 trips in 365 days. They are great and we did actually save some additional money on food and stuff! It is a great deal if you are going mutiple times in a year!!
