Watching Spectro and Wishes
Would it be a good idea to watch Spectro and Wishes from the Main St. train station? How long after Spectromagic is Wishes. If we staked out a seat at the train station, would it be a good idea to stay there for Spectro and Wishes or would that be a long time to wait. Thanks for any help.

Re: Watching Spectro and Wishes
I've heard that watching Wishes from the station gives a pretty good view and it removes you from the crowds. I haven't seen Wishes from inside the park yet, so I can't talk about this personally.
But, for Spectromagic, I really don't think you can appreciate it unless you can get close, which means staking out a place well ahead of time. IMO, the best place to watch any of the parades is sitting on the curb on Main St. but anywhere in Frontierland or Liberty Tree Square is pretty good too. I'm not a big fan of the circle because, to me, part of the allure of a parade is to see it coming down the street.

Re: Watching Spectro and Wishes
Usually, during the off-season months, the Wishes Fireworks is scheduled for one hour after SpectroMagic. If you go to the Disney World website, there is a place that you can go to look at the daily hours of each park. If you click on the number on each individual day, it will bring up the parade/firework schedule for that particular day. This is always subject to change, but for me, I have never had the schedule altered unless it was weather related. Anyway, when we are going to be there in Januaray, they are scheduled to be starting about an hour apart. The thing that you have to take into consideration is if the parade will be beginning at the train station or ending there. My family only visits WDW during the off-season, so we have only caught this parade one time, and it did start at the train station. This being the case, you will have a bit longer wait than if the parade started in Frontierland and ended at the train station. The parade must be completed before they will start the firework show. Don't fret, someone will be along with an answer for you soon.

Re: Watching Spectro and Wishes
Ok that could work. We have seen Spectro from Main St. and loved it so maybe what we should do is stake out a place for Spectro and then try and get a space at the train station. We will be seeing Wishes from probably the TL bridge on a later day so we hopefully will see Tinkerbell's flight. But on the Sat when we will see Spectro, I know it will be crowded so we would like to be near the exit.

Re: Watching Spectro and Wishes
I've seen Wishes from the Main Street Station landing, and it is a good view with the castle being framed by the buildings, but if you are taping Wishes, you MUST get to either the left or right corners of the center platform. If you are directly in the center, then the flagpole will obstruct parts of your picture. As for SpectroMagic, we have never seen it, mostly because we've been running to or from Epcot for IllumiNations.
Click the link below to see the view from the station. http://www.disneycentral.com/forum/a...tid=3299&stc=1

Re: Watching Spectro and Wishes
You need to get seats on the upper level of the RR station no less than 1 hour plus before. Spectromagic is ok from there. Last years fireworks were great. The height gets you just a much better view then from the ground

Re: Watching Spectro and Wishes
Thanks for the tips, hope there is time to get a place on the train platform after Spectromagic.
