While I haven't stayed there, I have visited them several times, and stayed at a couple of the other Home away from home resorts. I really like the rooms. They are similar size to the Boardwalk Villas, and are nicely themed. Most of them have nice woods views or views of the quiet pool. They are only a short covered walk to the Wilderness Lodge, which has a wonderful pool, lobby and restaurants. This is definitely a nice place to stay, great relaxation and great rooms.

I know that several members here have stayed there, I am sure they will respond here soom.

buzzsmommy,

If you can find my trip report, I probably mention more about the Villas then I will here... :)

The Ugly: Really...nothing! We had some very specific problems that I wouldn't ding the resort for...

The Bad: The boat to the MK and back doesn't run during E-ride nights; so, you have to take a bus to the TTC and then to the WL. It took us an hour to get back. Transportation is generally good, but there are some random factors; both the bus and the boat may or may not stop at Fort Wilderness - if they do, you can add 20 minutes to the trip easy...be safe and allow the extra time. Roaring Forks (counter service, drinks, coffee) is a good hike from the Villas, but probably not as bad as some resorts.

The Good: I love the theme. Artist Point is exceptional. The pool is quite nice and relaxing. The rooms are GREAT. The cast members were fantastic. Mercantile is a great resort shop.

If you like the WL theme, you'll love the Villas.

Bruce
