Epcot Segway Tour

I am reading that an AP holder can receive a 15% discount on the Epcot Segway Tour. Does anyone know if this discount is just for the AP holder or does it apply to everyone in the AP holder's party? I would like to take 3 others with me and that 15% on 3 admissions is substantial.

You can use your AP discount for one other person. I had four people in my party but was only able to use it for mysef and one friend. But you may also be able to use your AAA card for a discount. Be sure to ask.

I just booked a segway tour for DH and friends in August (I will be at Chef Mickey's with the DD and DS). I booked with a AAA discount, and asked if all 4 of them had to have a card, or just DH. She told me juts DH. Maybe the AP discount is different.

The tour is about riding around the World Showcase on a Segway before the park opens. It's two hours: one for training and one for touring around the countries.

It was so popular they changed it to two tours a day.Cost is $80 with 15% discount ($68) for AAA and Disney Vacation Club members, as well as Annual Passholders and Disney VISA cardholders. Call 1-407-WDW-TOUR (1-407-939-8687). A credit card is required.

Details are:
You must be less than 250lbs
You must be 16 or older
You must be able to stand up unassisted
Cost per person $80 for 2 hours
48 hr cancellation policy
Limit 10 guests per tour.

I checked this out,and it looks like so much fun. I have small children, so it wouldn't be appropriate for me, but I wish it was! It looks like a blast!

It's awfully expensive. I keep thinking how many dinners at O'hanna or Cape May Cafe I can have or how many rounds of Fantasia Golf I can play. ohhh boy.

My DH is doing this on Saturday I will give you his review when we get back! I thought it was expensive too until DH said if he had to buy one to check it out he would. It is like 5,000. So the 80.00 seemed worth it then. LOL!

When put that way, yes $80 isn't expensive at all. I have four in the family.
