hello everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving! I was wondering if anyone has been to disney the week after president's week. My daughter has to have some surgery and we need to change our reservations and this looks like a week that would suit the family. We would arrive 2/27/05 and leave 3/6/05. We have only ever been down during low attendance times and I am just worried that it will be busy. Any help you wonderful DC'ers can give would be so greatly appreciated.

We were there this year (2004) from February 27 - March 6 (wow, what a coincidence!), and it was great. We had some crowds on the weekends, but it really wasn't too bad. The thing I found is that the Magic Kingdom was packed on the weekends, so we just avoided that. The other parks were dead, and on the weekdays in the MK, we just walked on any ride we wanted.

However, we left to go on a cruise, and the week after the cruise was completely packed (3/13 - 20). I had some family members go after the cruise, and they weren't all that happy.

We had some cool weather, in the 50's, but that lasted about 2 days, then it was in the high 70's. I am sure you will have a blast.

Thanks for the info Mickey, I really appreciate it. I hope the weather is nice. We were worried that spring break might have started and that it would be a little crazy but it sounds like it will be perfect.

We were at WDW the last week of Feb in 2003 and the crowds were perfect. Not to many people but still enough to have good energy. The weather was excellent also, only had rain in the afternoon on our last day.

I usually go the last week of February also, and it is usually perfect. The crowds are usually pretty low, expcept on weekends when FL residents tend to move in. You do occasionally run into a line, especially with ToT, RnR, Test-Track, and M:S, but the FP's do they trick with that.

As far as the weather that time of year usually has very little rain, so it is a wonderful time. The weather can get cool at night, so you will want to take a light jacket, in case you head off to DTD for a night or something.
