I am going to Disney for 3 (2 in park days) days in February. I'm not sure when (I won't know until the last minute - because it really depends on my husband's everchanging shift)

More on that trip on a different thread.

On to the second.

I am planning another trip for sometime AFTER October (when my husband's vacation comes in again)

I would like to go for 6 days. 4 days in parks. (Not including BB or TL)

I've added up all the 'deals' out there, and I feel like I must be missing something.

If I buy single day tickets for everyone (Not including multi day discount, which I think there is) for all 6 days in parks next year 629.46

If I buy seasonal FL. Res. AP - 783.86

If I buy Play 4 days and 2 single days per person 685.88

It looks like the cheapest thing for me to do is go ahead and buy single day admission for everyone everyday.

Am I leaving something out of the equation?!?!

what about park hoppers? The four day park hopper is 202 pre-ordered from the internet...if its just the two of you...that'd only be 404...if you want the six day..im not sure how much they are but i KNOW hotwire.com has them for cheap too..

I gues your daughter is over 3 and needs a pass,right? I'd go for the seasonal passes,because if you live close enough in Florida,you might be able to take day trips back and forth in one day.

I see how you came up with your single day price, but that means you could'nt park hop, you would only be able to go to one park per day.

Check out the Hotwire Savings Club, they have Park Hopper +'s for 206. I learned that the +'s never go away, so even if you use all the park days up you can still use up the +'s.

I didn't realize they are still doing the Play 4 Days. Those are an awesome deal.

I thought the Play 4 passes expired on Nov. 21. I'd buy 6 day park hopper plus tickets. Wait, I do have Park Hopper plus passes. The unused portions don't expire, that makes them almost a hedge against prices going up. I haven't been able to make the math work for premium APs versus Park Hoppers or package Ultimate Park Hoppers, so far. For a premium pass to work, I'd have to spend 10 days in the World to make them pay off.

Soundgod - THey did expire, this is for next October. I will be able to buy them when they come out for next year and use them in October.

Let me break it down like this. I need to buy 4 passes. 2 adult, 2 children.

I am going a total of 6 days. 2 in Feb and 4 in Oct.
What would be my best advantage?

Buy the 6 day park hoppers now...plus or not. You can save a few percent by doing it in advance and avoid the higher price for after October. They will raise those ticket prices before summer, so you are saving that. A six day park hopper plus will get you all the park hopping and some pluses for everyonre. I think that is the best deal for you.

No, it doesn't make any sense for me to buy the 6 day park hoppers. They are more expensive than the FL resident seasonal annual pass.
A LOT more expensive.

Disneyguy - are the plusses good for one admission into Disneyquest, BB, TL, etc each?

How many times can I use them?

If the plusses don't ever expire, it might be more cost effective for me to buy the PHP

I just don't know.

Glad it's you that's rubbing off on me. It might have been cavey and I would have found myself with this urge to go exploring caves and that's not a good thing for someone who's claustrophobic...lol

It's a special Florida resident pass if I am correct. You aren't dumb. There is no such thing as a dumb question. I see your countdown is shrinking over there...are you and DBF excited?

Yes. It's 119 dollars for a 4 day pass. YOu have from like August until NOv. to use it.
