Fastpass and EE Question

If you enter the park during EE can you grab a Fastpass for later in the day or are the machines not yet working? Specifically, I was wondering if we hit EE in MK would we be able to grab a fastpass during EE to use later in the day. (I know I can't get over to Splash, BTMRR etc. but I was hoping to grab one for Peter Pan and ride some other stuff during EE.)
Hope this makes sense and someone can help me out!

Re: Fastpass and EE Question

I'm pretty sure that you can get a fastpass on the rides that are open during EE. Only a few rides are open. Keep in mind that if you get a fastpass at that time, the return time will only be about an hour later. If you got one at noon the return time would most likely be at least 2 hours later. The return time goes by the demand.
My DH loves Rockin Rollercoaster and TOT and I do not...so we both get fastpasses and he uses them both.

Actually, at that time of the morning, the queue up time would probably be less than 30 minutes. When lines are very short, the FP window can start immediately.

Re: Fastpass and EE Question

Keep in mind that the return times can expire, But they will still let you on, as long as the initial entry time has passed. In the heat of the summer, we tend to collect FP's all day, and then in the evening, we use then to go on all the rides.

I have verified this many times with CM's and never once had a problem.

Re: Fastpass and EE Question

the problem with fast pass is you cannot pick a time to come back. They will tell you what time they are giving out for but that early in the morning you will be coming right back again and it may not be worth doing unless you are going to two rides side by side.

Re: Fastpass and EE Question

I guess I should explain what I am hoping to accomplish...
I was thinking if I grabbed fastpasses for Peter Pan at 8 (the start of EE) then they would hopefully be good from say 9-10. This way we could spend EE covering Space, Buzz, Winnie the Pooh and maybe Snow White. Then we could hit Splash, Big Thunder and Haunted Mansion as soon as the rest of the park opens (grabbing another fastpass when our window opens at say 9.) Then we could head over to Peter Pan at the end of our window just before 10.
Does this sound like it would work???
We would prefer to "go hard" for the first few hours and then relax for the rest of the day.

Re: Fastpass and EE Question

the problem is that if there is no line it will read 8-9 rather than 9-10 and then you are more limited with what you can do at the same time.

Re: Fastpass and EE Question

Do they open the fastpass return line during EE or do they wait and have the first return time start at official opening time?

Re: Fastpass and EE Question

Im pretty sure that the pass works when they open early- if I remember correctly it did but Im sure that its based on how long the lines are and they wont be long then.

Re: Fastpass and EE Question

Just got back from WDW.... The fast passes do work during Early Entry hours. It works exactly the same as during normal opening days. We had a PS for CRT at 8:55am on EE day in MK. We got FastPass for Peter Pan and then went to breakfast with Cindy. After breakfast, we walked right into Peter Pan's Flight... Worked great!
