Re: Dumbo the Flying Elephant

I keep ontop of the rehabs and post them over on The Mouse Trap forum, and haven't heard anything about a rehab for Dumbo.

Currently AllEars is still showing that only CRT and it's a small world will be closed during January at MK.

No rehab scheduled for Dumbo. I am also going in January and will be highly upset if I can't embarrass my DD by riding it. I like to pick my Dumbo like the kiddies...lololol I also like to yell "weeeee" much to my DD's dismay...lolol

I'm glad that my mom simply isn't cool enough to think of that.

I have also been known to lip sync songs with strange objects like bananas, talking with accents out of the blue (I can do any), and skipping and riding carts down the aisles....except at Target...their carts are humungo and I always hit something...the parking lot is a whole different ball game though. I love to ride the cart down the hill...lol I will always be silly I guess. but I also know when to be serious and my DD hates when I am serious because she knows I am seriously ticked off.

Your mom is cool in her own way.

Muwahahahahahaha
I'm cool enough to think of it, though.
Speaking of embarassing children. I have to share this story.

The threshhold from being "cool" to "embarassing" must happen around 8 years old.

My daugher just turned 8.

I swear 2 weeks ago I was "cool" to my daughter, but yesterday we were riding in the car with her friend, and I was playing Christmas Carols. Well, Feliz Navidad (or whatever) came on so I turned it up, and was singing along and dancing. (All kinda silly like)
NORMALLY - my daughter would of laughed and joined in. The little friend would of too.

BUT - this time they both acted as though I was insane or something.

It was SO not right. I'm still cool, right?? It's the children that have gotten lame.

*sigh*

I LOVE THAT SONG~~~~ I will make my DD dance with me when I hear it and demand to be dipped...lolol OH I am only cool when it's me and her...she gets nervous when friends are there....I don't do any of my zany antics when they are around...well most of them....lololol I still do most and her one girlfirend will skip with me..lol I'm still zany enough to be fun as long as I don't go over the top like put the really big bras on my head to see if my head can fit in the cup..lololololl I save that little fun for me and my DD. She giggles evertime we go near the department..lol You're still cool ERin. The kids are the ones who are getting lame... Wait till they are teens and we are a total embarrasment.

Re: Dumbo the Flying Elephant

Dana, oh don't we all know when our parents are serious. The only difference here is that my mom is usually the one yelling at me for riding the cart through the store or parking lot.

Oh Erin don't worry it is manily just because your DD had a friend in the car.

She's missing out. You should put her in the cart and push her down the hill.(holding on of course not just shove it down a hill)..lolol lossen her up a bit.
You should try talking with different accents first and work your way up from there....you have to have fun in life.

If I wanted to push her down a hill she would give me some very long lecture.

As far as accents, I occasionally talk in an accent, and she doesn't like it.

Re: Dumbo the Flying Elephant

My DD is only 3 years old and lip sync's with me to everything. It is still fun when they are this age, they want you to sing and dance and be silly. Dana, I will never forget when I was teen my mother would go out of her way to embarass me at WDW. She would start skipping while we were still in the parking lot.And now I know why ! I was known for the those looks you mentioned and some comments under my breath every now and then. This is also why I had a girl. It was wished on me ! I can't wait till I can embarass HER at Disney !
