MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

Since Park Hopper is posting all of these great reports about WDW during the holiday, I wonder if anyone has seen the new MVMCP fireworks? How do they compare to the regular Wishes?

Re: MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

Matt,
I just returned and loved every second of MVMCP. It was by far my favorite night of our entire trip (Trip report will be coming). I have to be honest and tell you that I do not really remember the regular fireworks, but the ones I saw during the party were beautiful. You must also see the parade. I was overjoyed. My DD loved every minute of both. She never took her eyes off of either. The whole night was amazing. It was well worth the money. We walked right onto every ride open. We didn't wait even two minutes for any of them. Getting our picture was easy and fast (probably the longest wait of the night). The whole process was about 7 minutes! The snow on Main Street was absolutely magical. I loved every second of it and was so sad to have to leave when it was over. I will talk about it more in my TR. I know that you will LOVE it.

Re: MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

The MVMCP fireworks seemed to be the same as with Wishes, only with 'fireworks in the round' at the conclusion, around the common. It's wonderful. :D

Re: MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

The fireworks on 12/3 was the wishes show. I think I remember reading it on my MVMCP party map/program.

Sounds like a variation of the Halloween fireworks, which I expected it would be.

Re: MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

Since where we rest after parade is across the street where the fireworks are shot, it gets VERY LOUD, but watching the perimeter fireworks go off is nothing short of magical.

We just got back from WDW, and went to MVMCP. It was incredible-the fire works went on forever, and the parade was the best weve seen. enjoy the party is was worth every disney dollar.

OH I am so HAPPY you said that. I read a not so nice post about the MVMCP and I was beginning to get nervous. I can not wait!

Don't be nervous, ILOVEMYSONS, it was a great show. Lots of fun.
But the fireworks show really IS just an extended "Wishes", which was great because I finally got to see the whole thing.. twice!

Re: MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

We have not seen the "wishes" fireworks yet, so extended sounds great! I just worried about spending the extra $$ for the party and being disappointed. But I am sure we will love it. Just 3 more days!

Re: MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

I'm not raining on anyone's fun here. I'd just like someone to keep an eye on your watch and tell me if the show is 12 minutes long like Wishes or 7 minutes like the Halloween show. Please?

Re: MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

I'll be there a week from Friday!

I can't even BEGIN to tell you how excited I am. (Except by posting that over and over. )

SG, if no one posts an answer by the time we leave, I'll be sure to try and time it.

Re: MVMCP - Anyone Seen the Fireworks Yet?

Soundgod - I believe it is the 12 minute show - I've got 12+ minutes of taping on it.

I believe it is not abreviated. I listen to the Wishes soundtrack all the time, and was quoting it verbatim during MVMCP. (okay, I did stop when it began really annoying my daughter...)

I hope this is right, it's just what's on my videotape, I didn't time it directly.
