Stitch ride?

As you all know, I like Stitch. I wanted to know what the Stitch ride was like. From what I understand it is a lot like Alien Encounter. I went on it once before they changed it to Stitch. What are the ways that it is different, other than Stitch being in it? I know little Skippy is still in it.

Re: Stitch ride?

I haven't been on yet, but most of the reviews I'm hearing aren't very flattering.

Re: Stitch ride?

If you love Stitch, you'll love the attraction. Never went on AE so can't tell you what's new or not, but it's Stitch being the best he can...mischievious

Re: Stitch ride?

Hi

We came back from WDW on December 24th, this was our first visit. I can honestly say I was REALLY disapointed with the Stich ride, my husband and I just looked at each other afterwards as if to say "was that it!". My kids were very unimpressed they are 8,7 & 6. But as for everything else it was FANTASTIC.
My highlight of the trip was MVMCP that was spectacular as was wishes.

Hope you have a great trip.

Re: Stitch ride?

I think with all the "feedback" Disney has been getting on this update I wouldn't be surprised if we see an update pretty early in it's life.

Really Disney hasn't updated the space since it's creation as Mission to Mars just the show/ride content. Stitch is really big I hope they can get this to a must ride, ride.

Yeah..I didn't like it. Oh well. Kids seemed to like it and I guess that's who it's geared towards.

Re: Stitch ride?

There was a short article in the Orlando Sentinal I found linked on another Disney site that said the "minor" changes were coming for Stitch. But the comments it made were confusing with all the reviews I have read. The article stated that the changes made in changing AE to SGE weren't enough to make it kid friendly. It mentioned that it was still not appealing to kids because most of it takes place in the dark. Does this mean they will add light to it? I don't understand these comments in comparison to the reviews I have read. I haven't been on SGE yet, as it opened right after my last visit, but what others have said, this won't be the kind of changes it needs to make it a must ride.

We were in WDW in November and did the new stitch "ride". It was the Alien Encounter with a friendly update. If there is a long line don't waist your time. We were very dis apointed with this ride which isn't a ride at all.

Re: Stitch ride?

If they make it lighter than I will not get on. I like the dark. My family is always saying, "Turn on the light!" when I'm at the computer desk. They just don't get us night creatures

Re: Stitch ride?

My group was disappointed with the ride as well.
I wouldnt even call it a ride.
We got a free preview of the ride on Halloween nite and I wasn't impressed at all with the ride.

My two eleven year old Stitch fans did not like the attraction and neither did DH and I.

I was going to post, but Suzanne stole every word. I agree with her 100%. On all counts.
