What does that sign say that is right there in front of it??? Everyone has been SOOOOOO quiet about the opening of this attraction. I have heard people say that it is nearly complete.

I think that the sets are completed, as well as most of the queue, and testing is underway. But I'd say that there are a few more months of testing, followed by a month or so of guest previews. It looks done, and they have installed the fastpasses, so a soft opening can only be a few months away.

Grand Opening Press Event is scheduled to be on 05.05.05 in honor of the Happiest Celebration on Earth (50 backwards 3 times). Previews will likely begin sometime around March most likely.

Disneyguy, I think you're going to be out of luck. From what I've heard, they are just now beginning to have the drivers working up the act. I don't think they'll feel comfortable enough in two month for a soft open. But it looks like I'll be out of luck when I get to Disneyland in June, because Space Mountain is starting to fall behind schedule.

I heard that they began training MONTHS ago.... I really wish it was more definitive. Maybe I will get really lucky.
