Which tour should I take??

Hello everybody! I've recently been considering plans for my 16th birthday trip to WDW. I know its been a heated debate around here about the backstage tours "losing the magic" for you, and so on. Well ive finally decided since Iam going to be 16 on my next trip, to take one of disneys backstage tours! But the question is, what tour should I take??? I have it narrowed down to 2 of them. Theres the Keys to the Kingdom tour, and theres the Backstage magic tour. I would love to hear any of your opinions as of which tour to take. Money wise Im leaning to the Keys to the Kingdom tour, which is $45 as suppose to the Backstage magics $199! The Backstage magic tour is 7 1/2 hours though!!! Im just trying to make it easier for my parents to write those checks! lol. Thanks for any and all feedback!
Joe:)

jwdj4lf,

Happy almost 16th birthday!

What a way to celebrate.

I myself, am going to take the Keys to the Kingdom tour in November. However, I went on the Backstage Magic tour last November. Wow! I think you would find it very interesting. You don't loose any of the magic of WDW, you only learn how to appreciate it more. You find out how things work, you see the computers that run the whole show (as it were), and just how the business is run.

Last year we had the pleasure of touring the production building while they were building the new Primevil Whirl ride. Our guide told us then that we would always remember that we saw the ride being built. He is right. Now when I see previews of the ride I always think of how it looked before it was put together.

As for the cost, if you have a Disney Club card or I think and American Express card, you can get a discount off of the tour price. You ought to at least try it.

Have a great time and enjoy all the aspects of WDW.:)

jwdj4life~~When we go in December we're going to go on the Keys to the Kingdom tour. I haven't been on either tours yet, but for me personally the Keys to the Kingdom sounds better. There's going to be four of us going on the tour (myself, DH, son in law, and my daughter's boyfriend). Whichever tour you decide to take, keep us updated and tell us what you thought of it. Have a great trip and birthday.

PS - my daughter will be 16 in March, so if you take the Keys to the Kingdom tour let me know if you think she'd find it interesting.
