Is there any way to tell how many days left on a Park Hopper Ticket?

I called WDW info and the woman I spoke with said I have to be in the park to tell how many days left on my passes.

Ummmm.......Since I'm in MA, that is not possible.

I know we all have days left on our hoppers, but I cannot remember how many. I'm trying to decide if I should buy hoppers next week before the new
tickets go into effect.

Even if I go with the new tickets, I really want to know what I need so I can buy them ahead of time!

Please help!!!

From everything I've ever heard (and I've seen this question a lot) you have be at WDW to find out how many days are left on a pass.

There is no way to tell other than to be at the parks themselves. All the info is in the magnetic stripe, and who has a reader that talks Disney? What I could suggest is putting a little number on the pass telling how many uses are left.

Just this evening I have been sorting through 6 "unfinished" tickets trying to plan what to purchase before we go (since there is an advanced purchase discount). When we visited WDW in September, I had Guest Relations check each ticket and I wrote the days left in pencil on each ticket. I now keep track daily when we use them... Unfortunately, you must be at WDW to get this info. If you plan on visiting often, You might want to purchase maximum day tickets for everyone so you know they'll all be covered, and bring your old tickets with you to have them "read"- write down the unused days for future use since the old park hoppers never expire! (also- photocopy the back of each ticket you have in case they are ever lost)

Since going to the parks is not an option for you what I would do is be as methodical as possible to figure it out. My husband would not be able to do this but I would as I have a really good memory. Remember back to your trip that you used them and what everyone did every day. You can at least get close to a good guess. Sorry that's the best idea I have.

Thanks for the idea - the problem is, I traded in OLD tickets from 1989, and I cannot remember how many days were on those, but maybe if I go back to my trusty scrapbooks I'll figure it out!

Now, I'm trying to figure out if I want to do another commando trip and try to see everything, or just spend a couple of days at the parks. The kids love
the water parks, and we didn't get to go last time, so I want to go to both Typhoon and Blizzard this time.

So, do I spring for the 7 day magic your way pass and use the leftover days on a future trip? Or save some money now and just buy a few days that will expire at the end of the trip?

This is our 3rd trip to Disney in 4 years, so I think we'll be laying low for a few years anyway. Decisions decisions......

Maybe you buy a few days worth of Park Hopper tickets, that way you are covered. They are good forever.
