Icon5 New Here??? about Park Passes

My family and I are visiting DisneyWorld in four weeks. We haven't been since February 2001 and am wondering what's new, if anything with the park hopper passes. Living in Canada, we've been lucky to get tickets at par in the past. I have, however, recently heard that the ticket passes/packages were changing the beginning of 2005. We are renting a private villa for the two weeks, therefore, we aren't privy to the actual DisneyWorld Resort Packages. Any info on this? Your help is truly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Welcome to DC, you found a great place to get your questions answered.

Look at this page for the new ticket prices. You can put together any type of ticket you want.

Re: New Here??? about Park Passes

The new www.disneyworld.com website homepage advertises the new ticket and vacation packages that are available. I just checked and confirmed that you can purchase the new "Magic Your Way" tickets without purchasing hotel accomodations. Click on the tickets and reservations link and choose the ticket only option. I checked on 4 adult tickets for 7 days with the Park Hopper and Magic Plus Pack options. The total was $1,072.00 total for a rate of $38.29 per person per day. The total drops to $892.00 for the 4 adults for a rate of $31.86 per person per day if you omit the Magic Plus Pack option.

I will keep an eye out for any ticket only specials. Good Luck and have a blast!

Re: New Here??? about Park Passes

Yes, the tickets are new. Magic Your Way tickets allow you to pay for exactly what you want/need and nothing more.

About new rides you will find: Mission: Space at Epcot, Stitch's Great Escape at Magic Kingdom, Primiveal Whirl over at Ak. There is a new 3-D show over in Fantasyland of MK, sorry I can't remember the name. Saratoga Springs Resort(adjacent to DTD) and Pop Century Reort(Ak Area) are brand new resorts that you will notice at WDW.

Did you already purchase your Park Hopper tickets? If you bought them before Jan 2, then you have the older ones, which are still the same,as far as I know. When are you going, and where are you staying? We'll be there Feb 4-10th at Pop Century.
