Last-minute trip!

My friend is going to WDW this weekend for her birthday with some girls from her high school. And I have just been informed that me and my friend are officially invited too! :)

The only problem is that they're all staying with someone in their dorm, and the room will be pretty crowded as it is. Any idea where the best hotel for me and my friend would be to try to get a reservation this late? Is that even possible??

How fun!! For a quick trip I would look at an All Star or Pop Century. You are going to be on the go and not in the room much. I am sure most resorts and off site hotel are not booked this time of year.

oooooooooohhhhhhhh jealous! id try all stars or pop too..why not stay on site? itll be about the same anywhere......77 bucks a night

oh on site, definitely! Is there any other way to do Disney?

hehe just kidding.. I just wasn't sure how far in advance you had to reserve them. I didn't know if we'd be able to get anything, since it's like 5 days away. But I'll try one of the values - thank you both! :)

On the last day of our trip last summer we decided at 5 pm we didn't want to go home so my DH called and booked a room at Pop for that night. It was fun to add a night instead of going home.

Make sure you get a FL resident rate, it will save you a bunch of money!

hahaha!! We might be able to fit an air mattress in the dorm...

Thanks so much everybody, but I just called Disney and they said there's no rooms anywhere on property for this weekend. Kind of disappointing... even worse is that the CM I talked to wasn't friendly!

Scandalous! Anyways, my friend's dad is looking off property for us. I'm just kinda sad... I like being in the middle of the magic!

But as long as I we get to go, I won't complain.

There are no rooms to be had this weekend because it is MLK weekend and alot of people take advantage of the 3-day weekend.

Isn't that mind boggling that all the rooms are full on a weekend in Jan? Even if it is MLK, wow! Maybe keep checking for a cancellation?

Thanks so much, all of you. I totally forgot it was MLK weekend, that explains a lot, haha. We haven't given up trying for a hotel, but we're only about 2 hrs away, so we could always just drive down to meet everyone. Last minute plans are so stressful! lol! Oh well.. thanks for the help everyone, I'm staying optimistic! I know there is some family in some value resort that really wants to cancel this weekend so I can take their room... just have to find them...
