Magic my way?

Im in a mood--im just for-warning you...
but...does anyone know if you pre-order magic your way tickets from the internet if they're cheaper than if you buy them apon arrivial like the old tickets used to be in the good ol days when things weren't complicated?

From what I have learned, if you are buying a ticket for at least 5 days it is cheaper to buy it before you arrive.

Yes, you CAN pre-order your tickets online at a small discount, no matter how many days you purchase.

I thought the discount was only factored into the "extras" (no expire, park hopper, etc.)?

Deb's site doesn't list any advanced savings until you get to day 5 of the "Magic Your Way Park Hopping Ticket No Plus Options Expires 14 Days After First Use" ticket if I am reading it right.

I just bought a 10 day hoppper with no expiration from the disney website. They said I saved $11 by buying it in advance, but I did have to pay $3 shipping.

That's what Deb's site is showing, however, she doesn't show a discount for all of the tickets.

The only APS (Advance Purchase Savings) offered are for tickets beginning at 5 days and heading up. This includes discounts for all 5 day and up tickets regardless of add-ons. To try and avoid a shipping charge you can always inquire about Will Call which can now be picked up at any WDW Resort Guest Services Desk and added to your Key to the World card!

So, is that saving $11 after the $3 for shipping? Or did you save $8 total?

I'm so confused with these new tickets and I don't know where else to post this...

My friend wants to go with me to Disney this weekend for one day. One day, one park, no hopping, no extras. Do they still just sell one-day tix or do you have to buy one of the fancy ones?? I looked on disneyworld.com and it seemed like the lowest you could get was 3 days... :(

Your friend will have to purchase the 1 day MYW ticket for around $60.

You can't buy the one day tix in advance, only at the gate, that's probably why you couldn't find it on the site. Have fun!

We hate these new tickets, we are so use to the Length of Stay passes. We are going to be there for a total of 11 days. We're planning on buying the 10 day plus tickets so we can get into the water parks and DQ but that only gives us a total of 5 days for water parks and DQ. So now we are limited. The last time we went, we hit the water parks about 6 times and DQ 3 or 4 times

Hopefully things will change before we arrive and they will add unlimited to the extra parks too.
