Okay, I'm all set to go next Saturday, Jan. 22nd. How have the crowds been so far this month? And, has it been warm enough to go swimming?

llama sent me a PM from WDW and said it has been excellent weather and the crowds are ideal with little or no waits. Our weather looks great thus far. You can swim regardless. The pools are heated. My DD takes a bathrobe with her and puts that on immediately after swimming and then gets changed. Right now the temps look like they are going to average in the high 60's low 70's for us....I am SO excited!!!

I've been looking into this as well. The crowds have been really light from what I've read. Accuweather has a 14 day forecast. It is pedicting high 60's and low 70's. If it were in the 20's and 30's here for awhile I think that would feel warm enough to swim in. Since it's been getting up to the 50's it might seem a little cold. Stupid global warming messing up our vacation!! I know the Poconos are always a little cooler than Philly. Maybe it will seem warm to you. Typhoon Lagoon is closed in case you didn't know.

January 2-3 crowds were heavy. They got progessively lighter every day. By late January the college crowd will be back in school.

I got them from the 15 day forecast. I didn't even look at today's...I was looking for our trip times.

I'll be there during that time also. That would be great weather if it doesn't rain. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'm getting used to that weather because here in N.C. it's been just like that for the last couple of weeks. Sitting here in shorts as I write. It's suppose to turn cold here tonight. Two more work days till I"m off and then to Disney in a week. I worked all the holidays and so now it's my time.

Hi guys. Here's the scoop.

Weather - gorgeous. 80 and no rain since I've been here. (One quick shower 7 to 8 a.m. last Friday). I've been swimming, so you know it's warm.

Crowds - last week probably moderate to light crowds. As the time has passed, the crowds have become non-existent. We've walked onto everything. Had our own log on Splash Mtn. and our own train on BTM. On the Safari at AK there were 7 people in truck.

My new favourite - The Earl of Sandwich - absolutely great food.

I'll post a report next week.

Can't wait to read it! Hope those nonexistant crowds stay like that for the ones leaving soon....like me for instance..lol The weather sounds perfect!
