We finally decided on on vacation dates??

My DH and I finally decided to try WDW in November
We decided on Nov 5 - 12 , 2005. This will be for our first wedding anniversary.
So does anyone know how the weather and crowds are then?
any advice from anyone who has gone during this time would be so appreciated!!!

Great weather, but you might run into Super Soap Weekend. Not a big deal, except Disney-MGM Studios will be packed some of the time. The dates haven't been announced yet, so you never know.

Congrats on your upcoming trip. That is suppose to be an uncrowded time of the year except for Soap Weekend like mickey said. The weather is not as humid as the summer, but still very nice and warm enough to swim. Congrats again! What a great place to spend your first anniversary.

When will they announce those super soap dates? and will it just be busy for that one weekend? if so that may be the weekend the husband gets his wish of going to that Other theme park in Orlando!!! i am shocked he wants to go there!!

They should announce them soon I would think. It may get busy the Friday before and maybe the Monday after for people making a long weekend out of it, but other than that it should be fine. Like mickey said, it should only be really crowded in MGM leaving you other parks to explore. Yes, that would be the best time to take your DH to the "other" parks...lol

I have been at that time and it was great. I didn't know in advance of the super soap weekend. The Studios was crowded, but it really wasn't bad. That was back in 2002 and the crowds have seemed to increase considerably over the last year for all times. I think the Food and Wine Festival should still be going on in Epcot and that is always fun.

I was there for the Food and Wine festival. Eventhough I didnt drink any of the wine, a lot of the food was good. I really enjoyed it.

I was there around that time. Someone told me that at MGM the food places were crowded but the rides were not bad because everyone is doing the meet and greets with the Soap people. The day we were at MK was crazy and busy, but the other parks were not. I think we hit MK on an EE day or something. DTD was packed but then I think it always is. I think the theory was that with the hurricanes this year November was busier than usual due to postponement.

OMG!! I think you will catch Super Soap Weekend!!!!!
Iam dying to go to that, but my DD is in school and I won't pull her out...
From what I can remember, Super Soap Weekend was the weekend after I left Disney, I was there 10/30-11/6. and the following weekend was Super Soap, I think ..... hope that helps!
If it is true, make sure you check out those hot studs for me!! Wooohooo!

If you want to go to MGM do it in the beginning of your trip staying away from the weekend Thu-Sun if you want to avoid that event all together...

That sounds wonderful. We almost picked BWV for our trip this summer. We decided on BCV mostly because of the pool and the fact that the 4 kids in our group will love it. I think we are going to try to stay at BWV our our next group trip since it was such a hard choice this time.
