Why do people...

...get a FastPass when the standby line is only 5 minutes long?

...stop in the middle of "traffic" to talk to their group or look at the map?

...feel that if there is 6 people in their party, they can walk 6 abreast down mainstreet?

...expect the guy pushing three kids in a stroller to be the one to move over three steps to get around them?

...encourage their kids to scoot up in the que so they have a reason to cut?

...have one person stand in the que and hold a spot for 5 other adults/teens?

Any other thoughts?

I can tell you the reason......
When training to be a tour guide a million years ago (the cold crummy weather is making feel VERY old today), our trainer told us something that to this day helps me from killing people when I'm at WDW.
He said: "Don't ever lose your patience with guests, remember that they have locked their brains in the car!"

they do it to annoy me. actually i think i am invisable, because these people keep walking into me, actually this hurts them more than me, as i am 6ft and 250 lbs. and i refuse to move out of their way.

I think that people who at DW for their first time probably feel lost and overwhelmed and just don't think things through, unless they are smart and have done their homework here at DC!

Okay, I have some for you....

-Why do people think all the parks are interconnected ? "Will this Friendship boat take me from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom?"

- Why don't they think before they speak? "What time is the three o'clock parade?"

-AND WHY DON"T PEOPLE BONE UP A LITTLE BIT ON DISNEY BEFORE THEY GET THERE?
"Who are the Swiss family Robinson? And why do they have a treehouse here?"

I've been doing so much research over the last 4 months I'm going nuts! Glad I found this site. At least it's up-to-the minute facts. Some site I've been on haven't ben updates for months, maybe years!

Until I read Unofficial Guide, I thought all the parks were interconnected.

BTW, I've wondered about the CA commercial with Buzz & all the Disney characters looking over the fence from DL. Are they adjacent to each other?

DCA and DLP are across from each other, but "looking over the fence" doesn't really work.

(Unless, of course, they can magically see over a huge promenade that spans between the two parks...)
