I love...

...waking up at the crack of dawn (or before! ) to go to the airport, and knowing that everyone else on the streets is headed for work. But I'm going to WDW!

...riding the monorail at the Orlando Airport, gazing out at the sunshine and knowing I'm finally back in FL!

...all of the WDW billboards on the towncar ride from the airport!

...checking into a new resort & getting to explore!

...that first night dinner at 'Ohana!

...slipping into bed that first night at a Disney resort & falling asleep knowing that I am there for a whole week (or more)!

...rising and shining bright and early and being one of the first people in the MK!

...that first-ride-of-the-trip on Splash Mountain!

...wearing my cheesy "tourist" outfit, fanny pack and all!

...slathering sunscreen, filling water bottles & packing snacks!

...the feel of the water spray when I'm zipping along in a WaterMouse on Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake!

...the fuzzy hand of a character on my shoulder as I'm posing for a picture!

I could go on and on, but I'll let this list suffice for the moment.

How about:
...handling EC rope drop so perfectly that you spend your entire first morning of the trip riding TT over and over.
...the first view of Main Street as you emerge from the tunnel at the entrance to MK.
...seeing the perfection of the ATAT walkers in the forest and the space station that is Star Tours.
...feeling warm sun on my skin after a long snowy winter.
...knowing that I have seven days to enjoy it all.
...fireworks, anywhere.
...getting a good chair at TL or BB.
...pretzel rolls at Biergarten and cinnamon rolls at POR.
...riding the beautiful WDW boats to MGM and EC.
...PoC, Maelstrom, HM, Splash, Space, BTMRR, TGMR, Dinosaur, Kilmanjaro, S:E, etc.
...the smell of jasmine at EC
...the torches and scenery at EC just before sunset.
...the last show of the day at Indiana Jones.
...the first safari of the day at AK.
most of all:
...being there as a family and seeing my DH relaxed and my kids having fun!

...purple road signs.
...everyone wishing me a magical day.
...pin trading.
...watching innocent bystanders trying Beverly for the first time.
...having a great table at any table for any meal.
...turkey legs.
...riding in the front car of the monorail.
...and having my preteens hug me in public!

Mine are....
- Driving on I-95 in Florida as the sun is coming up (almost there!)
- Waking up the family as I pull into Downtown Disney (We always head in that way!)
- The first bite of many boxes of popcorn (It's so addicting, there must be crack in it!)
- "Drinking Around The World"
- Eating lunch on the balcony of Pinochio's
- The front seats of RnRC!
- Sitting in Mexixo with a cold Beverage watching the sun go down over the water
- And Still, after thirty three years of visiting...flying over London in Peter Pan's Flight!

...running around and around when there's no line for ToT, and doing it over and over again!

...seeing Mickey. He is the only character that is still completely "real" to me. Every time. It's so magical...

...lazing around on the lazy rivers at TL and BB for hours at a time

...seeing DH's face when he experiences WDW for the first time. It hasn't happened yet, but I already know I'm going to love it!!

...when the plane finally takes off even though the snow is still falling (fingers crossed for this time!)
...when the front desk clerk says 'your room won't be ready until 3' and I know we can jump the first bus to the MK!
...my children trying a ride they were too scared to try last time
...Peter Pan
...my husband beginning (finally!) to relax
...finding another pin for my collection
...my son and daughter laughing out loud for no reason except that we're in Disney!

Oh I want to play.....

I love.....
* My first real look at the castle after getting right in the middle of Main Street (I always get misty )
* Spinning around on Aladdin's Magic Carpets trying to avoid the spitting camels (which always ends up our first ride on the way to Pirates)
* Snuggling up to my husband as we're going up the first hill of Big Thunder so I don't get wet!
* Not needing to cover my DS's eyes (and ears!) on the Haunted Mansion anymore!
* My DH, DS, and DSS trying to make me sick on the Teacups by spinning me as fast as they can! (little do they know....I love it! )
* Turkey Legs!!
* The thrill of competition as we race into Buzz over and over and try to get the most points....and then all the "my gun didn't work" talk afterward!
* Every bit of Space Mountain!
* The parades!
* Fireworks!
* Watching my DDad and DS both have looks of wonder on thier faces as they ride the Carousal of Progress and Spaceship Earth (they love those 2 rides!)
* Ellen Degeneres saying "Stupid Judy!" in Universe of Energy (I laugh out loud everytime!)
* Mission Space!
* Champagne in France
* Off Kilter, the Jammitors, the World Showcase Players, the barbershop quartet in MK, etc. etc. etc.
* Tower of Terror (even though it scares the you-know-what out of me)
* My DBrother offering to buy me a pin if I would just let go of the seatbelt and put my hands up in the picture on the TOT. I left the park pin-less by the way
* Every bit of RNRC!
* Ice cream cookie sandwiches from the Main Street Bakery!
* Filling up my refillable mug at the resort...just because I can!
* The Tree of Life....although I could do without ITTBAB....boy, do I hate insects!
* Mickey's Philharmagic!
* Virtual Pirates at Disney Quest
* Safari in AK
* EMH
* Shopping!!

* watching my husbands' face as he came running out on to Main Street with his newly purchased...Bobble Head Karate Mickey! (the man is not a knick knack shopper, so this was quite a breakthrough! )

How proud DH is every time he kicks our butt on Buzz
That my youngest DD has to put her head under my shirt on

Churro's, Mickey bars, and Disney popcorn!
Watching my girls get their hairwraps EVERY trip!

I am reading this thread again, and I can tell you that DCers love Disney more than anyone else on the planet! And it shows!

Hmm, so many things.

- Waking up while it is still dark to catch the earliest flight from Boston to Orlando and throwing all the last minute toiletries into my suitcase.

- Watching all the other really excited and happy people at the gate who are almost all headed to Florida for the same reason I am.

- Getting off the airplane and seeing everyone at the gate waiting for their plane home with their Disney stuffed animals and Disney bags and feeling sad for them that their trip is over, but happy that mine is just beginning!

- The smell of the sunshine and the warm air when I first step out of the doors at the Orlando Airport to get on either the shuttle or towncar to WDW.

- Seeing the billboards for ToT and Muppetvision ( 2 of my favorites!) as we get closer to WDW.

- Putting that plastic "Key to the World" into my wallet after checking in!

- The anticipation of the first bus ride to a park.

- The different theme music that greets you at the entrance of each park and really lets me know I have arrived at WDW!

- Popcorn - smelling it and eating it!

- The first breakfast at the food court (I usually stay at a value or moderate resort).

- The endings for each Disney day - Illuminations, Wishes, Fantasmic - each one of them gets me a little weepy!

- The unexpected excitement of posing for a picture with the characters. (At 25, I never intend to meet with the characters but they still somehow make me giddy like a little kid!)

- All the yummy food I get to eat at all those different restaurants.

- Walking around the Boardwalk at night!

I could go on and on!
