Have you guys seen the new 50th intro on disneyworld.com? Its really cool, I wonder if disneyland.com will be doing anything like this sometime soon....hmmm *raises eyebrow in wonder*

I saw it also, and it is much much better than what they had before. It is about time disney got into the year 2005 with there site update.

I think its a great intro, I just go there to watch it sometimes....lol, Im a dork I know. Now DLR needs to get with the time and smell the coffee, HELLO?? Ever heard of 2005?

DLR has not updated their web site????? It is their celebration after all!!!! What are they thinking?????

I know! Exactly. They still have the each park, hotel, and DTD with the music intro. They need to catch up with the times. Its 2005, come on now. They need to seriously make a 50th intro like now.Oh, I was talking with someone on the live rep number at DLR about the castle overlay, and the lady said they wouldnt continue that until about a month before the celebration, I was like what??? I dont think they really know, Ive called on this matter before but I have gotten like 3 different answers, so I dont think anyone really knows. And my aunt doesnt know either......so who knows. Hopefully the continuation of the 50th overlay will start soon....

Server too busy

Disney needs to do something with their servers, the message stating they are too busy and to try later is old. What other site has to do this as often or even ever, this is the only site that I have seen this error in 10+ years. With today’s modern servers and bandwidth the only reason I can think of the use of older equipment or poor software. Granted they are no Microsoft and can not push the terabytes that they do through windows update but, seeing they advertise on the top of every page that they use HP equipment does not look good in the consumer’s eyes.

I'm corn-fused. I went to disneyworld.com and I didnt see anything really special for an intro. What did you see? Did I go to the wrong site?

I went to www.disneyworld.com and it did a 50th intro, a thing that says join us for The Happiest Celebration on Earth, then the world unwraps into a flat maps and a star jumps from each resort telling what rides are going from there to WDW and more. If it didnt work for you it may be because you dont have the reqired plug-ins or program(s) required for the intro to work.

ahh, yeah. I though it was kinda cool....now DLR just needs to wake up and smell the coffee and get with the times...meaning they need a new intro as well.
