Wishes leaving WDW ?

I read somwhere that wishes will be leaving WDW by May and will replaced with a new show.

Can anyone confirm?

I dont think thats true, havent heard any news from Disney on that. And its so new I dont think they would get rid of it that quick....but who knows?

Surely not!! That might be the shortest running WDW attraction ever. They have kept mediocre attractions longer than Wishes has been around!

I was there for the very first performance of Wishes. It was so crowded and we were in such a bad spot I could barely see a thing. I am looking forward to seeing it again during my March trip.

They are adding a new show called Cinderellabration, which is a show at night in front of the castle, but Wishes is so new, I couldn't imaging them replacing it with a new fireworks show.

There has been several rumors, about them thinking about replacing Wishes, but I have the same reaction you guys do and that it won't happen.

I think where ever you read that, the writer probably had Disneyland Confused with Walt Disney World. Because like AHB said, Disneyland is getting a new firework show in May.

I hope Wishes wouldnt be leaving (I know its not) but if it was I would be SO sad, because Im looking forward to seeing it in July. :-)

Every time WDW has a new fireworks show I think "oh no"...how can they get rid of such a wonderful show, only for the next one to be so much more marvelous. I just don't know how they could ever "out do" Wishes...it is just so spectacular!! you are going to Love it ahb15!!

They can't replace until I've seen it from in front of the castle! Last year we got stuck behind the castle. Yes it was pretty cool being right underneath everything, but I also want to see it from in front of the castle.

Wishes is going to be duplicated at the DLP resort. However I have heard nothing saying its leaving and I think I read the same thing you did. If you go back to where you read it you will find multiple updates saying someone had the wording wrong.

ok I hope this isn't hijacking, but I have a question... the first time I saw Wishes, it was at the MNSSHP. It was so awesome - things went off all around you and I had never seen anything like that before. But when I dragged my parents back in my trip in Nov, I didn't see any of that. I mean it was good, but it didn't have anything of the stuff going off around you. I'm pretty sure I was standing in the same place... was it just my imagination? Or was it a different show for Halloween or something? Whatever I saw that night, I am dying to see again, lol. Can anyone help?
