Re: July 4th fireworks
I would say it would be a toss up between Magic Kingdom...I mean one has wishes going for it and the other has the American pavilion of world showcase...and I do expect patriotic things to occur there. So either way, you can't probably go wrong!

Re: July 4th fireworks
See here I go being all delusional again, as a child I always thought the 4th of July fireworks were an early celebration of my birthday (July 5 - I was a day late...story of my LIFE) and I never quite got over it. This year I've got to be in MK for those fireworks!

Re: July 4th fireworks
We were there last year. We had an early PS at LTT and saw the fireworks after. They were the best we had ever seen. I would go for MK everytime!

Re: July 4th fireworks
I would definately agree here and say MK. DH and I have been ther a few times now on july 4th and MK by far and away has the best. They usually have the firworks set in all different areas of the seven sea lagoon so that when they go off, It seems as if they are going off at each and every compass point. Make sure you get into the park early though as parks ( esp MK ) get very busy on this day and they tend to close up once full capacity has been reached and then turn people away. The frist time we were there for July 4th, we were in Tomorrowland when we discovered that they had reached person capacity down mainstreet and ' roped' you in to whereever ypou seemed to be at the time. We were not allowed to leave Tomorrowland until way after the end ofthe fireworks dur to safety reasons.
We were really bummed at this at the time as we had hoped to see the firworks from as close to the castle as poss but when we realised how spectacular they were we really loved it. A xxx |

Re: July 4th fireworks
I am watching with interest because I am taking my family there over 4th of July also! It is the first time for us (my 2 girls are 8 & 10) and we are staying at POR.
Sounds like MK is the spot of choice. Now where can we watch from so as not to be CRUSHED by the crowds? |
