Food and wine festival

Is that going on the week I am there (10/27-11/20)? If so, how much more time should I dedicate to Epcot to really get the most of it?

I don't know anything about it, but I remember that Park Hopper really liked that event.

It looks like it started on the 5th of October last year or near that day since his trip report was dated for that. I think it goes on for a few weeks or so...hopefully through novemeber. I would love a chance to take a peek at this. Thanks for the link angie.

Yes Dana, the Festival goes to Nov 14th. Starts Sept 30th.
They have activities and all. I didnt get to do any of it last year, I had very little time in Epcot. I hope to devote a whole day their next trip!

I love love love the F&W festival! Partially, that's because the World Showcase is my favorite part of WDW, but also because it gives you an opportunity to try so many different cuisines in one meal. Last year, we allocated two lunches to grazing at the F&W festival (start at different sides each time or you'll be too full to try everything!), and be sure to give at least one afternoon to roaming around all of the great exhibits. Kids won't love it though, so take that into consideration.

How are the crowds at the begining of Oct? Has anyone ever done a Party for the Senses? This is what I'm looking foward to the most on my trip.
