Things you wish you had bought at...

Have you ever come home from a trip to WDW or DL and later regretted not to have bought this special, totally useless thing? Something you tried to justify to yourself and couldn't.

I have. In Epcot's Italy they sell these jewel colored eggs, the size of chicken eggs, highly polished and OH so beautiful. I'd love to have about 30 of them now to put in a big nest on my dining room table.

I wish I bought, last year, this cute little change purse that was red and had an old picture of snow white on it. It was 10 dollars, and I really liked it. Im not sure why, but I didnt get it. It better be there this year!

Re: Things you wish you had bought at...

Oh yes! All the time!

In DLR--
*A Sorcerer's Apprentice tank top. It was simply gorgeous, and in all the time I worked there, I don't know why I never bought it!
*And also some of those beautiful fringed pillows at the World of Disney store, with Cinderella/Dumbo/Sleeping Beauty art on the front. They are so great, and I would do almost anything to have some of them on my couch right now!
*More ginger-ale scented Mickey soap from the Basin store. We have to use our last bar sparingly!

In WDW--
*clothes!! I have NO WDW clothes, except for one Space Mountain t-shirt (which technically could be from either WDW or DLR.) I don't know why I never bought a sweatshirt or anything, but I have NO WDW clothes! Not even one t-shirt that says Walt Disney World!

For me it's like this. There's always soooooo much that I want and know that I can't buy everything so I think about which thing is the one that I really want....on and on and on. Then I just don't buy anything for fear that it's the other thing that I would rather have. Yes, I know that sounds dopey. Go figure.

Oh Dopey, that's horrible! But I am kind of the same way. I go through the whole week finding TONS of things I want, but I never buy anything until the end...and then at the end of the week, I just can't bear to buy only a couple of things (even if they were great big gorgeous snowglobes, or some awesome WDW sweatshirts!) so I buy a lot of small things that I'll lose instead. Then I get home and go, "Why didn't I just buy the snowglobes?"

(And then when it gets cold and I'm pulling on a sweatshirt, I'm wishing it was a Disney one. )

Everybody, grab your mouse money and book a trip

Re: Things you wish you had bought at...

I always come home with at least one hat and a sweatshirt but a few years ago there was this very tasteful, brown leather bomber jacket that I really wanted. I just could not justify spending $350.00 on a jacket that I am only going to wear on vacation. After I got home I really kicked myself and the following year when we went back I looked but they no longer carried it. It took me almost a year, but I found one on Ebay for less then half the list price and am now the proud owner. I just have to get back to WDW so I can look stylish while vacationing, lol.

When we lived away from here I always went home wishing I had bought something I didn't. A t-shirt or bag or jacket or sweatshirt..even a pen!

I am glad you got your treasure. I'd love to see a photo of you wearing it. C'mon, post a picture Harry.

Metalfan, I forget that you live with the Mouse. You lucky guy. I would envy you were it not for the heat you have to endure most of the year.

Yes, dizzygirl, you come along. How many pennies have you save up?
