help me..

Okay--
now that I am back and not even unpacked i am already planning my next trip!! We want to go back June1st-June 8th and there are SEVERAL options I can do here...and i need your help

1. Buy AP's and get the AP rate---In the long run this would be about two hund. dollars more than we would spend if we went with option number 2...BUT we will be moving to Orlando in December and we anitcipate being back and forth between Orlando and SC a lot..and wouldn't it be nice to just pop in for dinner??

2. Buy tickets on a discount website and book the hotel reglular style and hope for a general public discount...i think this says it all..

3. Go all out...buy the package...the park hoppers...the dining plan...just splurge and say...bahh..you only live once...(If we do this it will cost the same as booking a hotel room with the AP rate and buying the AP's...but all the food WILL be paid for...)

so..give me your input...and i am trying to SAVE money...

Re: help me..

I vote to buy the AP's. Since you are moving down there within the year, you could easily get your money's worth. I only go twice in a year's time and the AP's save me money.

With the AP's you are more likely to go back again, and again, and again!

Re: help me..

If you are going to be going a lot just go on and get the AP's. Then you can get the Dining Discount Card too, that would save a lot of money.

Re: help me..

My vote too is for the AP's and like disneyguy said, get the dining card too! I'm jealous that you're moving to Orlando (although DH would move in a heartbeat, I think, if I was willing to move away from my MAMA!) At least we're in FL and can buy the seasonal pass!

Re: help me..

I believe that the discounts will pay for the pass at a moderate resort. Also, just think of how many additional visits you can make between June 2005 and June 2006....not to mention the additional resort discounts you can get.

Re: help me..

Buy the APs. You'll soon break even especially if you're moving (yay! One more Floridian!), and you can use whatever disposable income you get after that to splurge on a hotel using your new Florida residency!

Re: help me..

I say go for the APs. If you are lucky enough to get an AP discount on a room you could easily make up the difference in ticket price right there. Then get the dinning card to save 20% on some of your meals. If you are moving to Florida you will get a lot of use out of them. Sounds like a win-win situation to me!!

Re: help me..

I voted for your option 2 - if you really, really want to save money.
And if the general public code doesn't come out you can always do your first option.

Re: help me..

Since you specifically mentioned that the idea is to save money (seems like that should be an oxymoron since WDW costs big bucks even if you use all the discounts!), purchasing the APs is the most cost-effective way to go. And, you will be able to look forward to stopping in ay WDW anytime you are in Orlando preparing for your move. That might help your mental health considering that moving iften causes lots of stress. :-) Are you sold yet?

Re: help me..

AP...once you move up there, you will just HAVE to pop in from time to time, and the AP's will do just fine for that :D
