FYI - MYW park tickets.....

Hey all, I just realized what a small price difference it is between 7 day and 8 day MYW park passes.
Only a $3 dollar difference !!!!

Anyways, I thought our arrival day would have to be a "no" parks day, but I just added the 8th day for only 3 bucks more!!!

So I though I'd mention it in case anyone is in the same type situiation. It would be worth it even if you are checking in later or checking out early and want to hit a park.

All this MYW stuff is still just starting to sink in a bit.

I think anything over 4 day is only $3 more a day. We're doing the same thing - we'll only be there 6 whole days but bought a 7 day ticket and will go our first night there. Our flight doesn't even arrive until 5:30pm. Fortunately it's Epcot Evening Magic Hours so Future World should be open until 10pm and World Showcase until midnight. Since this is our first trip to WDW we'll be anxious to go. And for $3 more, it's worth it!

Yes, I had a 4 Day MYW this past trip, and I could have had a 4 day for about $3 dollars more, but I wouldn't have used all the days. I would have had to purchase the No Expiration feature, and I think that is why the difference between days is so cheap.

Good tip! I noticed this when we were looking at our ticket options for our July trip. We are getting the 10 day ticket and we were so excited to see how little it costs to extend the ticket. Disney really is making it tempting to stay longer.

Thats their goal... they want you to stay longer. The only thing that has not decreased in cost is the food at WDW, and the souveniers. Resorts have discounts, and now MYW's are cutting park admission costs. When will I see the costs cut for me to eat or shop at WDW!?

I wonder how long it will be before you over ther will be able to buy 14 day and 21 day tickets like what we can get over here in the UK. A 21 day ticket is about $30 more than a 14 day ticket.

Iam staying 7nts and was going to cut off 1 or 2 days but for a couple extra dollars, might as well get the 8day and pop in for a couple hours on those days just to use them up.

Wow. thast great news. I think what we (my wife and I) are goignto do is this year we are useing our Comp CM tickets from my father, next year we will buy MYW tickets wint no experation for 10 days. We'll use that along with the CM tickets so we can have 2 days of disney for 10 years.

They offer the longer stays to the fish across the pond because the take longer vacations than us. Atleast that's how it was explained to me from Mouseketrips.

Yep we sure do. We like our longer holidays (vacations)... Atleast your airfare is generally cheaper than ours ($3000 for 4 people next christmas - and thats with a discount!).

There are a few of us who take long vacations here too. We go for a minimum of 2 weeks each trip. In fact, on our next trip we will be there for 3 weeks. If we could buy a 14 or 21 day ticket we would. Instead we will spend a week at Universal and 16 days at Disney. Maybe we are in the minority, but we save like crazy for our long vacations so that we can totally escape the day to day stuff and have fun as a family. This is how it was when I was growing up and I want my kids to have the same experiences. I'll never forget our 3 week trip to Hawaii. We didn't want to leave. What I am trying to say is that you can really relax and enjoy a vacation if you know you will be there long enough to not worry about getting back home.
