Planning my trip. Have questions.

Ok, so that I dont make several threads asking lots of questions I'll post them in this one thread.

I called WDW and asked for park maps to be mailed to me, the guy told me they didnt do that. Other then printing them from the internet (really low on ink) where can I get them?

Really?? They don't mail maps? Gosh, that surprises me. I would think they would do that as a courtesy. But I guess not...

Maybe you could get a WDW guidebook like Passporter or Unofficial Guide that has maps in it and use those instead? That's the only suggestion I can come up with at the moment.

I thought about that. I would of course be willing to pay for shipping and maybe a few $ for the troubble.

Oh yeah missy great idea! Hit up someone who's going soon, and just ask them to mail you some maps! I'm sure someone will be more than happy to do it.

There were maps in a booklet included in the Vacation Planning Kit DVD. They're free on the Disney website but it takes a few weeks to get them. Not sure how much time you have.

You can check the library. A lot of travel books contain maps. They may even have the vacation planning kit!

If you have a Disney Store, they have them. Also, check with AAA or other travel agents (feign interest in an upcoming trip if need be -- gotta bring home the materials to have a family conference to decide, you know

Allearsnet.com has maps of the parks on-line.

If you do not have a Passporter and don't have time to order it on-line, go to your local bookstore and purchase the 2004 edition. 2005 is not in the bookstores as of yet. The maps in the Passporter are fantastic.

You could save maps web page as a file (PDF if your computer supports that) burn them to a CD and take them to a Kinko's to print off there.

Might be a little work but get nice laser print maps...and you could have them print some extras out just incase.

Thanks for all the ideas and info everyone. I didnt knwo the Disney store had park maps. My sister-in-law works at the mall, I'll ask her to bring me some.

The Birnbaums Disney World book has maps in it. When I was done w/ the trip I cut stuff out of the book and used it to make my photo album..lol
