WDW questions...

Hi all...

okay some more questions (yes I'm just FULL of questions, I know...) :p

where are the best places to see villians? (I'm a huge fan of Maleficent myself, just haven't figured out how to get her as my icon)

We'll be doing the Pay4Play passes, and I was unclear on whether we'd be able to do two parks in one day. I don't want to do MK on a Saturday but I'd LOVE to have my kids see Spectro Magic and the fireworks.. any suggestions?

Whatever happened to Figment? Is he still there?

I have friends from out of state coming.. they will also be there for four days... what have been the best deals you've found?

As far as characters, what are the most current ones and where can you find them? any monsters, inc or lilo and stitch?

Also, who do you consider the rarer characters and where have you seen them?

what are some of your favorite disney info sites? (Yes I have mousesavers, mouseplanet, deb's site. and my disneyworld.com all bookmarked.. I'm an anal planner like some of you and the ore tips I can get on optimizing our time to be able to do EVERYTHING, the better!) :) :D

Thanks!

and hey to the other south floridians.. I'm in Deerfield Beach :)

Yes. Figment (without Dreamfinder) is back in a new "Journey" attraction. IMO, it is better than the second version but not as good as the first original version. At least he's back though.

Both Monsters, Inc (Sully and Mike) and Lilo and Stitch are at MGM. They are in the "Stars and Motorcars parade.

Mike andSully are also hidden within the Muppets area. You will find them in a very small doorway in that area but ask someone exactly where. They are hard to see and can be very easily missed on the walk through.

Lilo and Stitch are both in the Animation Attraction, to the left of the attraction entrance. Go into the Animation building entrance (which is still the open air building) but go to the left. The right takes to into the queue for the attraction. Photos by Disney are available here. Have them take the photos (no charge to take them) and view at the exit of MGM. If you do not like them, you do not have to buy them. We did as they did a great job.

Jessie is at Al's Toy Barn with Buzz and Woody.

If you're into autographs, these newer characters tend to use a stamper instead of signing.

Here's a great link to see some of the more obscure characters. It's maintained by a CM:

The 4 day Florida passes are basically 4 day park hoppers, so you can hop as many times as you like.

The best place for villians is Disney-MGM Studios. I have seen many of them wandering around. With the announcement of the return of Early Entry, WDW also announced that there would be more characters in the parks. I have yet to discover if these a wider variety of characters, or just that the current batch of characters will be seen more often.

When are you going and where do you want to stay? Most of the discounts for the remainder of the year expired last week, but there are still a couple around.

Ok another question.. this is our tenative schedule as far as parks (hopefully if we can get the character breaksfasts on those days) since we're there from Oct 27th to Nov 3rd. What do you guys think?

Was thinnking Halloween dayat Epcot can work so we get to do the Princess breakfast that morning, and we get to do MK that night, although Epcot will be doing Illuminations at 9, and the Halloween party is from 7 to midnight, so we have to figure that out. Perhaps MGM the first day (28th?), Tuesday (29th) we do Animal Kingdom, (30th)Wednesday we do MK, (31st)Thursday we do Epcot. We also have Friday and Saturday open for Epcot and Animal Kingdom so maybe we can go back to Epcot that night to see Illuminations *shrug*.. Kind of sucks because Magic Kingdom? Saturday night (busy as ****) but they have that Spectromagic Parade (seen it once, would LOVE to see it again). Remember the days when they would stay open till 11pm? *sigh* Those days are gone.

Hi Cheryl! We figured the best time would be Halloween since it's just so much cooler then.

Now another questions... okay so I now know about Stitch and Monsters Inc. What about characters that came out before them? The last time I was there was August of 2000, and even then because of my company (WHO LEFT THE PLANNING TO ME AND WHEN I HAD IT ALL FIGURED OUT GOT MAD BECAUSE THEY HAD NO CLUE WHAT THEY WERE DOING, AND THEY DIDN'T LIKE ME BEING IN CHARGE SO I SPENT HALF THE TRIP JUST SITTING AROUND WAITING FOR SOMEONE WHO JUST WOULD NOT STOP COMPLAINING) *yes okay I feel better now*. I think Hades and Meg would be the most current. Who came out after them, and I'm assuming all the newer characters are at MGM? Who are the newest characters at MK?

But anyways, thanks for the tips guys, loved the toonfinder site (although they don't have the newest characters listed. THANKS SO MUCH for that info!!! *looks majorly forward to MGM now*)

And thanks for the info Mickey. We'll be staying offsite at a timeshare (my so's parents let us have it.. it's GORGEOUS!!) right outside of Downtown Disney, and we'll be there from Oct 27th - Nov 3rd.. any clues as to discounts? What about some of the HUGE discounts for other things, such as Wet n Wild? The aforementioned friend was good for something, she really knew how to find us bargains and got us into Wet n Wild for 1/2 price. I just want to be able to find the best deals possible so my friends can plan their own trip :)

Thanks yet again :)

1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian has a buffet Villian dinner although I don't think they do it every night. Might be right up your alley... :)

Hi!

FYI-

Lilo and Stitch both signed my son's autograph book. Lilo puts a flower on the dot over her "i" and Stitch, well, it suits his personality. Threir area is really cute -- surfboards, palm trees, a record player and Elvis albums, and of course, Elvis music. My son had a lot of fun playing around with both of them, even when Stitch tried to pick Mitch's nose!

I seen Villians in every park. In MK I got the treat of seeing the Queen of hearts, Hook and Sneed, Jafar, Snow Queen and the Snow Witch. In MGM I saw Corella (sp?) Snow Witch, some pirate guy...not sure who he was,. please note these sightings were not at the parades or shows. They were all just walking around. I have never seen this many characters out about in my many trips. We even saw Mushu and the rabbit from Alice.
