EMH - AK - How late?
Just out of curiosity, when AK has an EMH evening, how late does it stay open? Did anyone do AK EMH evening lately?

Re: EMH - AK - How late?
Good question. The disney site doesn't tell us.
I was wondering that myself, because I'd like to do dinosaur at night.

Re: EMH - AK - How late?
I'm not sure what you are asking?
It stays open three hours past closing like the other EMH's. I will say this... as much as I hate Dino-rama, it is at it's most spectacular during night hours when all the lights are on. I imagine Everest will be awesome at night (both to ride and to see). Animal Kingdom at night is very cool. I don't think Dinosaur at night would make much difference though. ![]()

Maybe it has changed since then. With Tarzan Rocks closing, they will really have a shortage of things to do.

Re: EMH - AK - How late?
One of my co-workers has a sister that is a DCM, he just called her and verified that all the parks follow the 3hr EMH schedule.

Re: EMH - AK - How late?
My DH complains bitterly about how AK is so much hotter than the other parks. Spending three hours there at night will be quite an advantage for us.
They have open at night: It's Tough to be a Bug!, Kilimanjaro Safaris**(only until 7pm),The Boneyard, DINOSAUR, Festival of the Lion King, Kali River Rapids, Primeval Whirl, Tarzan Rocks!, and TriceraTop Spin

Re: EMH - AK - How late?
We didn't get a chance to do it when we were there but I have heard that it is something to see with all the lamps lit on the paths. Might be to your advantage to go if it is going to be crowded and hot.

Everybody always mentions that, but I can't say I ever notice a difference...well, I guess Africa is pretty hot, but I don't notice it anywhere else.

Re: EMH - AK - How late?
When we saw how crowded evening EMH was at MK, we didn't use it again. Is the EMH at AK crowded?

Re: EMH - AK - How late?
We didn't have a crowded evening at MK for our EMH. We had a lot of fun. The EMH that was crowded was Sun. night at MGM. We watched fantasmic with all the other resort guests and had a blast, but the wait for RnRC was 60 mins. There was no line at MK that was that long, possibly because it was open til 2 am and a lot of people left after 12.

Re: EMH - AK - How late?
I just pulled out the EMH sheet that we got while we were there and here are the days and times for evening EMH. You get this list in your packet at check-in. It is very handy.
Sunday night - MGM 10pm - 1am Monday night - None Tuesday night - AK 6pm to 9pm Wednesday night - MK 11pm - 2 am Thursday night - Epcot 9pm to 12 am Friday and saturday nights - None I hope this list helps everyone.
