Photo Pass???

Just looking for some clarifacation on Photo pass.

Here is what i "think" it is, could you let me know if I am correct.

The first Disney photographer you meet will take your picture and give you a photo pass card?

As you tour the parks, etc and meet up with other photographers, you give them your photo pass card and they will ad any photos they take to your "account"

when you get home you can access this "account" on-line and order any photos that you want -
this is the only time it costs anything? Or does it cost just to get started?

You got it. You pay only for the pics you order on-line.

Piece of advice--write down the bar code number. We go home and the number wasn't readable. So we never got to see the pics on that photopass.

We had some great pictures on our Photo Pass.. it was very convient.. Last year I lost a few of my tickets that the photographers gave me and never got to see my pics.

You have it down pat. Keep in mind that when you access them online they cost a ton to get, and you cannot just download them and save them to your computer. The CM's who take your picture are mostly at the front, except for at Epcot where they are at the back of SSE and near the fountain too.

How long from taking the picture until Disney deletes the pictures from the web? We are going to be at Disney for 3 weeks, will the photopass still be online when we return home?

At first I didn't like the idea. When I got home to see the pictures, OMG! I didn't realize how many photos I actually had. Its fun when you get home to look at the pictures.

You can add things to your photo too. They are very good quality, the price is high, but no higher than before, plus you can really take your time and pick the best of the best at home or do nothing at all. it's fun to just view your trip one more time from home even if you do not order them.

i think they stay on the website for either 60 or 90 days.

Your photo pass stays online for 30 days after you first view them. I found the prices to be comparable to if you bought them in the park. You can add borders or captions. Also I noticed they have a deal right now, buy 2 get 1 free.

I think this sounds like an awesome idea. With this system I can pick the best pictures at the end of the trip after I have had a chance to view all of them. I usually end up getting the first pictures since I don't know what the rest of the week will bring.
