Illuminations viewing w/ small kids
I will be going to Epcot on Dec. 13th(Friday) and I will be eating dinner at Marrakesh and want to view Illuminations afterward. Where is a good viewing area around Morocco that small kids will also be able to see? How early should I begin waiting?? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks :) , Katherine |

The show can be seen from anywhere around the lake. Just try to pick an area with the least amount of trees. Every location is a good one so don't worry about that. We always get a good place to sit about 30-45min before the show starts and that in the summer when the crowds are heavier. I just keep my eyes open and when I start to see people staking out places I do the same.:)

Katherine: We just returned last night from WDW. We ate at the M> and then viewed illuminations from the little pathway right after you go over the bridge.
We have viewed illuminations many different places around the water. I think my favorite place is back near the entrance to world showcase right along the fence there. This last time, we were down on the water on the fence after crossing over the bridge from France. After crossing over the bridge, turn right down into this area on the water. In in case YOU MUST GET A SEAT AT LEAST ! HOUR AHEAD of the time. This has been true of every single time we have seen them. (also true of the parades) You can always find a spot somewhere at the last minute, but you won't always be up front. Good luck. Smallworld |

We always like to watch illuminations from the area in front of Japan. It is never really crowded like around the front of Epcot. After the show, if we are going out the front entrance, the crowds are pretty much already gone by the time you get to the front. If you are going to the Boardwalk area, the walk is a fairly short one.

Hi! We were at Epcot on September 11th. My four year old son watched all of Illuminations and throughly enjoyed it. We saw the American Adventure and then ate at the food court next door to it. After eating, we went out the doors of the food court and parked Mitch's stroller by the fence by the lagoon and watched the show from there. While there were a few tree limbs hanging down, they werre not all that bothersome. Buy a roll of 800 speed film and take pictures. Mine turned out great! Have fun -- I wish we were going back soon!
