Re: some questions

I just wanted to say welcome to DC! Definitely go to the library and see if you can find a newer guide book. If they don't have one, you should consider getting one for yourself.

Re: some questions

I'm with Markarja on the library books....I've also gone to Barnes and Noble bookstore with a spiral notebook, and just sat in a comfy chair, perused several books on WDW, and just made notes. I also gleaned so much information from the Disney websites I regularly like to visit. All free research!!! Can we recommend other Disney websites??? If so, here's the ones I used for my last trip planning.:
ourlaughingplace.com, mydisneyworld.com, mouseplanet.com mousesavers.com mousetyme.com wdwmagic.com wdwfun.com www.thedibb.co.uk, wdwinfo.com intercot.com, disneyworldtrivia.com, wdisneyw.co.uk magictrips.com magicalmountain.com themouseforless.com and pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares

Remember it's REAL easy to Overplan......Definitely have a plan......but leave some room for Spontaneous Fun!

Re: some questions

rhodisney, thank you so much for all of the Disney Related Web Sites. At one time I had a list of some of the sites, but have lost them for some reason. Thank you so.........much.

Re: some questions

Just adding a welcome to DC...I am new myself and I love it here. I can't say enough great things about all the disneymaniacs, so helpful and so much fun. It is a great place to live the magic until you can get there (or return again and again and again)

Only advice I can harp on is get that Unofficial guide, make absolutely-postively sure you get PS at every place you want to eat at, and PLAN PLAN PLAN because you (like my family) are going during the crowded time...the planning will save you tons of aggrevation at trying to figure out what to do next (not that surprises encountered won't be fun). I just think that going to WDW without a plan is like driving somewhere without directions. Remember that WDW is the size of San Francisco and can be very overwhelming to the amateur.

Don't worry though, by the time you go the wonderful Disney family here at DC will have you an expert!!!
