July 17th will be the big day at MK Disneyland, but is anything going on at WDW? We may be there at that time and if it's going to be too crowded we change our dates.

According to all of the 50th stuff that dh has brought home, WDW hasn't announced anything.

I just checked online and they aren't mentioning anything in particular going on that day.

I am so excited that you get to go this summer! Have you picked a resort yet?

Well, we are hoping to go. Gotta save some extra money. We will not tell the kids we are going until the morning we leave. We don't want to disappoint them if we end up not going.

We will probably stay at Pop, unless a deal comes along. Every time we went in the past we always used a discount code. We have never paid for price. But it looks like this year we will. Oh well.

I am still debating whether to go for 7 or 10 days. The tix are only $39 more for 3 extra days, but the cost of hotel and food adds up quick for the additional days. We have never stayed more than 6 days, so I am not sure if our legs can stand the extra days.

I hope you go for 10 days, our trips will overlap a couple of days then. We arrive late on the 25th. We almost booked Pop but went with ASMo since we stayed at Pop for a night last year.

Wow, July 17 will be our last full day there. We plan on traditionally spending it mostly in the MK, but I would welcome any special event that day.

It's funny you guys should mention this.

We did an 8 day trip in December.

We were SOOOO ready to come home. No one was sad to leave on the last day. We were completely spent.

We're coming to the conclusion that the ideal WDW vacation is somwhere between 4 and 6 days.

OK, this is the first time I am hearing anything like this and just 30 days from our 15 days at WDW. Hey, maybe we will get our seciond and third wind during this time. Seriously, I have done as many as 9 days and was very-very sad to leave (even if some of my siblings were Disneyed out and they are 7 to 10 years younger than me).
