Splash Mtn / babyswap?
How does the babyswap work on Splash Mtn ?
Do you wait by the exit or do you all get to wait in line together? Thanks!!

I am not sure about this particular ride but I guess it is just about the same for any ride...go to the CM at the fast pass line and tell them you are going to baby swap and the CM will give you a ticket much like a fast pass ticket and after your party has finished you can get in the fast pass line. At least that's how it was done for Space Mountain over spring break...I hope this helps.

We do this lots at SM. Just tell the CM you see when you go to get in line(there is most often one at the start of the line where you measure your kids to see if they are tall eneugh). That CM will give you the rider swithch pass that you can take (with 3 other people... my DS likes to go twice then I don't have to go alone).And you don't have to wait in line with your group. I never do. I like to wait at the tiny play area under the train tracks. DD loves to play there then she feels shes getting something extra.

We didn't know about the tickets last time we did Splash and found out by trial and error. We figured it was done like other big rides where you swap at the end. So we all waited in the line together and then went to the CM in the loading area. They had no idea what to do with us. When I got off, I was looking around for DH and DS. Again, the CM's in the loading area didn't have any idea where I could find them, as they're not used to dealing with the swap.
But it turned out the ticket was a good idea. We could go back at any time we wanted to repeat the ride.

Baby swap is another plus to going to WDW w/kids....I should have them just so I can ride big rides twice in a row with no wait

Be warned, kids LOVE the play area under the Rail Road tracks as much as anything in WDW. Getting my kids to leave when we're done with the baby swap is always a battle of wills, with a few tears and some screaming (but DW can usually calm me down with a juice box).
