Kali, RnRC and Goofy's Barnstormer. That ride is only 17 seconds long. You sneeze and you are done.

Re: Rides that Need to be Longer

I disagree on Barnstormer. I think it is the perfect length. The reason is because it is the first coaster most kids ride. This way if they are terrified, it doesn't last too long. If they love it, they can get back on it again

BTMR could be longer. I also wish it had bigger hills instead of going around in circles. But, oh well.

Definitely RnRC. It's my favorite ride in all of WDW. I wish I could ride it much longer!!

But the songs are as long as the ride... they would need extended versions I guess.

Re: Rides that Need to be Longer

When we went with my DSF this past Oct., it was his first trip and the one thing he mentioned was that the rides were too short. He said that about the time he got into it real good, it was over. This does not mean that he does not want to go back, but that he could not understand why they did not make them longer. I understand. I think every ride at Disney needs to be longer. I think this because I love the rides and I love WDW, but that's me. Everything at Disney needs to be longer, bigger, and better.

Disney actually did studies on how to make longer, more immersive attractions. Where ride time would be much longer than wait time. Older EPCOT was an experiment into this a bit. The result was that when the attraction gets old it is a heck of a lot more expensive to change and more risky. Look at Journey into Imagination. A huge building that needed updating, they gambled and a lot of money was pumped into a subpar ride and pavilion makeover (even then only using a third of the original building). So, the bigger and/or longer the ride, the more risk is involved. Cause you have to make something everyone will enjoy for a longer time. Shorter and smaller rides are easier to maintain or update and it leaves you wanting more and wanting to experience it again... usually.

I always thought most of the rides at WDW are just about right until I went on Soarin' this past weekend. Loved it, but way too short. They could double the time for me, can't wait to go again

Huh???!!! If the ride was as long as the songs (single/radio versions) in their entirety, the ride would be at least 9 minutes with three songs. If the ride was EVEN as long as Love in an Elevator, it would be 3 times as long as it is now. Get real, Hulk, which is a longer ride, is only 75 seconds from launch to the station brake run, and it has 4 more inversions than RnRCoaster. But, yes, I'd like it to be longer. Also, Space Mountain could be longer and more intense. Dinosaur kind of bites, maybe if the ride itself wasn't so jerky. Buzz could be longer, but MIB is still the better experience. Kali needs to be much longer and also needs to be pumped up, another Disney ride experience that is left in the dust by something at IOA. Splash Mountain might be about right. Big Thunder could be a little longer as well as higher so that it is also a speedier ride. Mission Space needs to be longer/more weightlessness and the buttons really need to do something when you don't push the right one or do it in time. Test Track. I've done Soarin' at DCA, it could be longer too, plus there really should have been a Florida version of the ride film as well.
My opinions.

Peter Pan is definitely too short.
And Splash Mountain could go on for a whole lot longer if you ask me. I could sit in that log forever.
Kali River Rapids, too short
Jungle Cruise, too short
I forget what they call it, the ride in Epcot's Norway, too short.
