MK suggestions ?
Okay, we've decided on our arrial day that we'd like to go over to the MK for lunch and hope to catch a few attractions before we unpack and have our dinner at Wispering Canyon at 6:30.
We are staying at WL, so we'll be close to the MK. Where would you head for lunch (fast food)?? What attractions to we have the best chance of checking out without to much of a wait? Best I can figure is we should be able to get to the MK about 12:30, and would like to get back to the WL by 4-4:30. Thanks!!!

Re: MK suggestions ?
Pecos bills for lunch. They have a great fixin's bar for your burger. For attractions with little wait, try fast pass or ride COP, TTA, Pirates, Hall of Presidents and maybe philarmagic.

Re: MK suggestions ?
The only place I have really eaten fast food in the MK is Cosmic Ray's, but it's nothing to write home about. People seem to love Pecos Bill's, so I would recommend that for lunch.
Karliebug already had awesome suggestions for attractions you could probably hit without much of a wait...TTA, Pirates, etc. Maybe the Tiki Room (or is that closed, I forget??) Maybe the Country Bear Jamboree? (Or is that gone? Gosh, I am SO out of the loop! Working at DLR confused me...)

Re: MK suggestions ?
The only place in MK I'd consider worthy of eating at is Cosmic Ray's. As I recall from the last time, they had some very good burgers and fries. Sure, it's all a bit pricey, but then again, what in WDW isn't?

Re: MK suggestions ?
Pinocchio's Village Haus has pretty good counter food. Cosmic Ray's food isn't bad, but it is usually crowded (though that may change now that they've taken out Sonny Eclipse). I believe that Columbia Harbour House near Haunted Mansion is also a counter service as well, but I can't speak to the quality of the food as I've never eaten there.

Re: MK suggestions ?
We like El Pirata, across from PoC for taco salads. The kids usually go next door to Pecos Bill for hamburgers/hot dogs and then we all sit together to eat.
But this year, I want to try the brand new Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_ttns.htm

Re: MK suggestions ?
Columbia Harbor House for lunch...eat upstairs too...get a nice view of the haunted mansion...
As for rides...check the line for Big Thunder, if it is moving pretty well, give it a try...if not move on to getting a fast pass for jc and try poc while you wait...try the rest of Adventureland and end your stay there with the jungle cruise trip...saving the best for last...hehehe. Anyways, move on to fantasyland, hitting any ride that is open...obviously peter pan here would be a lost cause...but still, keep pressing on to Tomorrowland and check out what ever is available there...if you have more time on your hands after that...move on to rides you had to pass up earlier...

Re: MK suggestions ?
I love Pecos Bill's. It's just like every other counter service place in MK, but for some reason it's my favorite. :)
I agree with the others, work those fastpasses! While you're waiting for your fastpass time to come up, you can try the Country Bears. The last few times I've gone there hasn't been a line at all (and it was pretty crowded). Even if there are some people waiting, it goes fast. Tiki birds is good too, I've never had to wait to get in there. Sometimes you can catch Pirates with a ridiculously short line. Carosel of Progress is always walk-on for me, if it's open. TTA is a nice walk-on too. Have fun! :)

Re: MK suggestions ?
Peco's Bill is definitely a great meal, but I must also HIGHLY recommend Casey's Corner at the end of Main Street. Best hotdogs I've ever had in my life!!!

Re: MK suggestions ?
I'd kind of do the opposite. I'd visit all those attractions that aren't on the "must see" list. Swiss Family Robinson Tree House, Tiki Birds, People Mover, CoP, Country Bear Jamboree, Tom Sawyer's Island - none of those things should be crowded or require a fastpass and you wouldn't feel rushed or overwhelmed on your first day. As for eating - I'd just grab a hotdog at Casey's.

Re: MK suggestions ?
I agree, both Peco Bill's or Columbia House are good lunch eats.
