That website w/daily crowd levels

I can't remember who posted the link and in what thread, but someone recently gave a weblink listing crowd levels (1 through 10) in the parks at WDW every day. Anyone have that web address for me please?

Re: That website w/daily crowd levels

The crowd info we're all stressing over is the newest info at http://www.touringplans.com/CrowdBlog.html that Buzzlightyear posted under May-June Crowd Info. They have really jacked up the crowd estimates. We're confused (and a bit disappointed) about how they can be so high in a traditionally low time even considering the celebration. But I guess that's good news for Disney.

Re: That website w/daily crowd levels

Yeah my crowd time went from a 3 to a 7-8.. but according to Len, who does this, he says...

"Here's the Guide's "official" predictions: www.TouringPlans.com/BestDays.htm. It shows 3s in mid-May. We use the Magic Kingdom as the yardstick, since everyone's familiar with it.

Here's a blog I've set up to discuss the ongoing process of predicting WDW crowd levels: www.TouringPlans.com/CrowdBlog.html. It uses two new models for predicting crowd levels, and we're trying to figure if either of these is more accurate than the standard model. As such, they're not "official" predictions. Some of the data - look at hotel bookings in Expedia - are interesting. Give me a week to sort out the numbers, and I'll post updated predictions from whatever model is the most accurate. We may even create a new model, taking the bits of what's working in each of them. "

I'm just waiting, because *I* am confused.

Re: That website w/daily crowd levels

I just cannot believe that my vacation went from 3's to 7's and 8's. There is no way that May is the new Easter. I imagine that crowds will be higher than usual, but no higher than 5's. I'm very skeptical about the crowds. I would guess that they will be higher than 3's, but much lower than 8's.

We may skip SWW, if these dates hold true.

Jenny - how are the days comparing? It's been crazy busy, already, hasn't it?

Re: That website w/daily crowd levels

It's weird because Easter Week was really busy, then the next two weeks were average, and yesterday was busy, but next week is projected to be slow. Maybe everyone came out yesterday 'cause tax season was over and they wanted to spend their returns.

LOL, I like your signature, EJ!!

Anyway, EJ - would you say that those 7s and 8s are accurate? I'm kinda bummed, because what does that mean for the summer? Isn't it still supposed to be kinda slow right now?

Re: That website w/daily crowd levels

Erin, I'd say that when I went this week it was about a 7, but the past few weeks (with the exception of Easter) were about a 4. Not even the CMs knew why it was so crowded the other day, so my assumption is that it was a freak thing. I am going back next Thursday/Friday, so I will let everyone know how they crowds are then.
