Icon5 Epcot Extra Magic Hours evenings?

Hello- Just wondering if the 3 extra magic hours @ Epcot run from 7-10 with future world or 9-12 with world showcase? Or are they split? Are the crowd levels similar to what E-ride night was at MK?

Thanks for your help!

It runs 9 - 12 and I am pretty sure the future world attractions included just stay open from 7 til 12 after the rest of future world closes. Others can verify I am sure.

Re: Epcot Extra Magic Hours evenings?

I called WDW to find out how late attractions would be open at Epcot during the Magic Evening Hours. The Future World attractions that are open until midnight are Mission: Space, Spaceship Earth, Test Track and Universe of Energy. The other Future World attractions listed as Magic Hour attractions close at 10pm. I would think that Soarin' will be, too, but it wasn't open when I called.

Thanks, Im wondering if It would be better to do the new Big 3 at Epcot first thing or during the extra magic hours. I was hoping it would be open till Midnight because the crowds after Illuminations would swamp these attractions.

Re: Epcot Extra Magic Hours evenings?

I hope this is better than the E-Ride nights at MK. We were very disappointed with it. Not only did we have to pay extra but it was really crowded. The only thing worth it for us was Splash Mountain at night and seeing the Castle all lite up before we made the plunge.
I don't know where they came up with limited amount of tickets for the event because it seemed like everyone staying there was there.

Re: Epcot Extra Magic Hours evenings?

We did the EMH at Epcot in Jan.

Most of the action is in Future World (TT, MS, etc.). The WS pretty much shuts down (it actually gets pretty dark!!), except for Norway. Maelstrom is one of the open attractions.

The only open restaurant (during EMH), when we were there, was the Electric Umbrella.

Thank goodness you no longer have to pay for it. That makes a big difference in how much you will enjoy the perk.
