MK Strategies...

Okay I'm going to be doing a series of polls to try and finalize my itin (no commando comments guys, I know what I'm doing), for Magic Kingdom, which has proven to be my most interesting challenge yet.

So first I'm curious about mornings at MK. I KNOW to get there early. I've heard a couple of different theories on what's best (shortest lines) at MK in the mornings, so thus.. ANOTHER POLL!!! *is poll happy* :P

Besides, you know you love filling these out anyways :P

Re: MK Strategies...

I always head to Tomorrowland first and grab a FP for the longest line....simply because TL is ALWAYS packed...and it will be packed first thing...but at least this way...it's a little less UNPACKED than usual....
Because tomorrowland at 2pm....not something I ever want to be a part of...but hey..this is just one girls opinion

Re: MK Strategies...

Fantasyland is a MUST if you have young children. The line for Dumbo can be hours long later in the day (Why anyone would stand in line that long....).

So with kids, our plan is head straight to Dumbo. Then Peter Pan. Then Winnie the Pooh. Followed by the other FL attractions.

This is true...I have no children I am all about the thrills.....
so use my vote for the others
without kids we like to do Fantasyland at around 10 p.m....not exactly ideal for the lil 'uns

Re: MK Strategies...

Jesse w/your little DD I think you need to run to Fantasyland as fast as you can. Send older DD to get everyone FPs for Splash Mountain. Do PETER PAN FIRST THEN WINNIE THE POOH!!!!! Those get the most crowded the most quickly. Save Snow White and Philharmagic for the very end of Fantasyland (even when it's packed, those are still manageable). Take little DD to meet Ariel as early as possible if that's something she wants to do - that line can get scary.

Then move on to Tomorrowland, then Adventureland, then Liberty Square. I've seen the Haunted Mansion line all the way out to the gate, and never waited more than 10 min.

Dude, you've got to make a choice or go to MK two mornings. If you have a small DD (or DS) check out the "Dumbo Do or Die in a Day" touring plan in which you'll throw yourself on your Fantasy Land sword (Hey, been there).

For teenagers and grownups there is only one thing to do in my book--race the rope to SM!!!

The older daughter is racing to Splash Mountain already, I'm not even touching her itin yet. This is for me and my 5 y/o daughter. I don't get your comment.. first of all I'm female (not dude) but whatever :) But I can't do MK on two mornings as we have the fl resident 3 day pass, no park hopping. So i don't get "making a choice". I did this poll to see what the majority thought about which land first..

Re: MK Strategies...

Mickey's ToonTown Fair is always the least crowded spot in the park in the morning, I've heard.

Do you mean the line has been that long and you got through it in 10 mins? We won't get to HM until later in the day (on an EMH day, no less) and I don't know how to gauge the line. We can always come back and do it another day.
