Main Street Barber shop question...

My DD is 4 yrs old, and the only way I convinced her to get a haircut was to get it cut on Main Street on our upcoming trip. My question is, do you think that they cut girl's hair? It is down to her waist, so it is not as simple as cutting a baby's hair. Do they do anything special that I should mention to her?
I want it to be a positive experience for her, since it took me so long to convince her to get it cut... Please share your experiences.

Absolutely, they will cut it and it is a blast. They cut adults, so your DD will be fine. Get there early is my advice. There are only two or three chairs and the place stays busy. Often characters may pop in, but don't tell her in case they can't during your visit. This is such a fun experience for any age. They are experts and have lots of Pixie Dust (literally), Toys, and skill to go around for anyone.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. No appointments -- walk-ins only.

Cost for a haircut is $17 for adults and $14 for children 12 and under. Colored hair gel, $5. Beard and mustache trims are $10.

Just got my hair cut there on Tuesday -- they took quite a bit off, too! The "barbars" are all experienced haircutters/sylists -- most with more than 10 years of experience.

My ponytail of 20 years will be lopped off on our next visit, told DW that if we ever get to go again I will do it, well see sig, we are planning to go again!
